I'm still planning on getting a Wii U when the Wind Waker HD and the other new Zelda game comes out, but saying "Wii U just can't lose" is a bit... Well, off. Whether you'd like to admit it or not, Nintendo set themselves up in a really bad position with the release of the Wii U.

Fact is, I haven't heard one person talk about Wii U. Everyone is waiting for PS4 and Nextbox. I don't see this ending well for the Wii U.

The wii u is already out.
The PS4 and 720 are not.
People think that they will be a whole lot better than the wii u based on very little evidence.
When the consoles DO come out it'll be even news again (unless Nintendo does a wii again with barely any third party support).

@Rhaigun all depends on who you speak to. I know 4 people with a Wiiu and I also have one so I hear a lot of people talking about the WiiU and next xbox but less about the PS4.

I always buy all the consoles that come out and I will do next gen but the WiiU is really not as bad as this site makes out.

Yes it could be abit faster with its software switching but if people remember back to the PS3 early days it was just as slow and has speeded up with updates ect.

This is nintendos 1 fully connected console and it dose some things very well and others that need improvements.

From having ZombieU, Nintendo Land, MarioU and Lego City I can see what can be done with the WiiU to help it stand out from the PS4 and next Xbox and once we have Mario Kart, Super Smash bros and Zelda out for the console this is a reason for fans of the past games to go out and get a WiiU just like Halo, Forza, GT, UC and GoW is a reason for there fans to go and get the PS4 or Next xbox.

PS4 and the XRumor are probably going to be the "must have" consoles for next generation. The Wii U will start to pick up in sales and popularity as soon as they come out with more games.

the thing is, we all know wiiu will not be able to compete against the nextgen in terms of tech and 3rd party games but the nintendo exclusives making the jumnp to HD will make any hardcore gamer salvating and btw the wiiu is a nice upgrade from xbox 360 and ps3, it can give some damn nice gfx, given that nfs mw was better on wiiu's early cycle than nearly maximized xbox and ps3, i assure u the nintendo exclusives will look mind blowing on the wiiu for years to come

Wii u will survive, nintendo survived the two gens ago with game cube dold 20 plus million consoles they will survive this gen. I have the wii u and will be getting the 720 n the ps4, i will experience every notable game that i want to for the consoles.
