OnlySP: I absolutely hate reporting on rumors, and believe me, the community as of late has been great at debunking almost every single one we’ve found, but I certainly looked around a lot this time before posting this one, so hopefully we’re on the right track. Recently on the Call of Duty forums, a user was scrounging around the Official Call of Duty website looking for anything they could find on the next Call of Duty when they apparently found a splash page on the site with a logo and a countdown.
Something is rotten in the state of online gaming. It's not the servers, it's not the games themselves, but it might be some of the players. A newcomer to Apixelatedview writes an open letter to the detrimental and hateful gamers out there.

a game with EASy violence, lack of imagination like GTA, Killzone, Forza, The Last of Us, Grand Turismo, Watchdogs, Assassins Creed, the Uncharteds etc etc should never deserve even a 9 due to lack of INNOVATION, CREATIVITY.
it dsnt make sense for easy to imagine games to get the same scores as the ingenuity bringers changers of the industry.
for only the games that do BRING the NEW, the game-Changing, the IMAGINATION, the TALENT, like the Raymans, The Last Guardian, the Mario's, The Bayonetta's, The Jack and Dextors, The Zeldas, the Banjo Kazooie etc etc .. only these types of games deserve the 10's, the 9's if they are well made < fact . .

Activision is due for a new Call of Duty reveal soon. For the past few years, the company has announced new entries anytime between late April and mid-May, with a more proper blowout taking place at E3.

Or else you wouldn't of wasted your time crying about COD. Ya, because millions of game sales, and millions of people that enjoy something is so bad for the gaming industry.

If it wasn't CoD it would be something else in it's place. People like you would always hate it no matter what it was because it's popular. Activision aren't doing anything wrong other than giving millions of gamers exactly what they want.
By the way I don't actually play CoD but I hate seeing people on here go on about how it's ruining the industry. There are loads of other games to play other than CoD, and if developers try to appeal to CoD's audience then that's their problem for being stupid.
I just don't care about COD any more this gen to be honest , I'm enjoying the rest of great games this year and then I'm focused on PS4 , Next Xbox and so on ! COD has become Madden to me , hopefully they add the rumored duck n cover shooting feature that's on the PC version and so on......just over the yearly iteration as AC is falling into the same stale rehash year after year

I think it's an interesting title. Been searching for the past hour to find anything that could debunk this and I can't. Hopefully we'll know in a few days time so all these Ghost, MW4 and now Dark Skyline rumors can be put to rest. Fun speculating what it could be though.

poor CoD fanboys are getting antsy because IW and the bunch of other dev are tryin to throw something together to sell this year but are slow to talk about it. NO DOUBT, they'll quickly throw something together, but have no fear, whatever is thrown together with insane Lag Compensation and no dedicated servers will still get a 9 from the fanboys @ IGN.. (i.e MW3)
