Wii U is better than Xbox 720, PS4 or PC

I was a lot more impressed with it than I was expecting. Even just being able to switch back and forth between a game and the other apps was pretty cool. We were collecting all the Star Coins in Mario and would switch back to the browser with a page describing the hidden locations. It worked brilliantly; maybe the load time between apps could have been quicker, but it wasn’t unbearable and they’re addressing that in the next batch of firmware anyway.

As far back as the N64 I've managed to get every new Nintendo system at launch and I can honestly say that the wii u has definitely been the least fun/impressive so far.

N64 blew me away, GameCube had some good launch games, Wii was unique and had fun party games but the wii u has just been "meh" for me. Major dust collector.

I do not fancy the Wii U but a console being best or better is a matter of personal choice. If your favourite games are present on a certain console then it is the best one for you. Nintendo fans buy Nintendo consoles for the Nintendo first party games alone so for them Wii U is the best console. For others it may be not.

That’s very true. Its just like anything in life. For me the surface and windows phone fit my needs better than the Android or Apple eco system.
The wiiu is getting a lot of digs on this web site at the moment and it should not be as it is not a bad console. Yes it wont be as powerful as the ps4 and we are expecting the next xbox to be more powerful than the wiiu to. That said the wiiu offers a different way to play games over the ps4 and more than likely the next xbox so some types of games will work better than others on the wiiu and some will not work as good.
I think the wiiu with the tablet controller would work with gamea like command and conker as games like this don’t work that well with a controller.
But one thing we all know is that the one company that knows how to get the most out of there hardware its Nintendo and once we get the big name games we will start to see what the wiiu can do.
For me though I would rather have the ps4 next xbox and wiiu all offer us different ways to play games as it gives us gamers a reason to own all 3 consoles.

I currently own two Wii U games. Lego City: Undercover and New Super Mario Bros. U.

I have beaten NSMBU and may never touch it again. It wasn't as fun as NSMB. It's like they just tacked it together. :/

I love Lego City: Undercover. It has its flaws, but it's a great game! I just wish the grappling hook could be used like the one in Just Cause 2. Oh well. Wishful thinking.

Still...that's it. Game and Wario doesn't come out until June. After that, I'm not even sure what I'll have to look forward to.

The Wii U was a gift and I don't sell gifts, so I'm keeping it. I just hope Retro and some of the other internal studios at Nintendo are working on some great games. I want Super Mario Galaxy 3, Pokemon Snap 2, and a TRUE Wario Ware.

The one thing that is missing for me personally is the 3D mario somersault jump, you know the one where you run one direction and then switch directions and press A. I know its not a 2D mario thing, but if they put wall jump why not that one. I could control mario in the air to perfection if that was on.

Also why must we play with the damn D-pad of the wii remote its a pain in the ass if your with friends. I should be allowed to use a nun-chuck.

This article is very subjective, the best console for each one, is the one with the exclusives you like most, in my case, the Nintendo ones, I love Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Pikmin, F-Zero(I'm kinda disappointed with Nintendo we didn't get one on Wii, you better give me F-Zero for Wii U this E3, Nintendo, I swear), Pokémon, etc. But I enjoy other games and have a gaming PC, which was expensive but it was more worthy than buying a PS3 and X360, I play lots of games on it, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space, Darksiders, Far Cry 3... I would buy all of the consoles if I had money, all have it's advantages, but I have to buy games for my 3DS, Wii and Wii U, therefore I can't afford too much. I'm a huge Nintendo fan(not fanboy), I got my Wii U last year, a month after the launch, it still not released in my country but I really wanted one, so I imported. That's being a gamer, buy whatever you want because you like it, not bash on other consoles like it will make a huge difference in your life.

I live in Brazil, games are expensive as hell here, would you buy a Wii U if it's price were US$800? Or US$100 for a game? Or US$70 for a 3DS game? Those are the decisions I take whenever buying something videogame related, I pay almost double the price you guys pay, no other option, I get really pissed when read articles about sales, the regular price for you guys I think it's cheap as fuck, when you get a sale, my greatest wish at the moment is to move to the US, brazilian gamers are doomed.
Also, PS3 was released here for US$3000, today it's about US$600.

I'll respect your opinion. However I too LOVE Nintendo, but they are only a former shell of the glory they once were back in the 90's when I was a kid.

Most of the Nintendo veterans like me still buy their consoles but don't support them heavily like back in the 8 & 16-bit era's. I know that some say N64 was a success but it was a flop in a number of ways from the cost of Manufacturing N64 cartridge costs of $10/Cartridge in comparison to SONY and their CD's that only cost $1-2 to manufacture at the assembly line.Don't get me started on how Gamecube was a HUGE flop for Nintendo despite its small library of fantastic gems and First Party titles.

My love for Nintendo is Eternal, but at the same time my preferences have changed as I have gotten older. I want more than the same First Party Franchises every generation and that's why I stick with SONY mostly cause they always break the ENVELOPE and PUSH the BOUNDARIES more than Nintendo taking RISKS on Console games. I also Stick with Xbox but I don't use my 360 that much.

So before you go spouting some bullshit Nonsense look at the facts while Wii U does have some good titles many of us Long time veterans know it'll be the same shit every time and only 1-2 new Console IP's per Generation. I am excited for XenoBlade 2,Beyonetta 2,The Wonderful 101,and Super Smash Bros.

On the PlayStation & Xbox side they do things differently.
Wii U isn't selling as well specifically cause many gamers are excited for PS4, Xbox 720 or both.

I'm excited for PS4, and i'll wait on Xbox 720 in the meantime though I'll buy the next Xbox but only buy a few titles that are exclusive to the system.
