VG Republic Writes: Bethesda found a way last year to bring us one of the top 10 games in Dishonored yet they never laid a finger on the title other than bringing it forth to the public. The beauty of Bethesda is that they have two of the most powerful gaming franchises outside of Call of Duty, in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. There isn’t a set of games on the market that offer more longevity and content than these two, for console gamers especially. They don’t really have to do anything outside of focusing on these two blockbusters and they would still be one of the most successful in the business. The decision though to become a publisher of outside studio’s games was rather surprising but at the same time is an easy decision as all they are required to do is to slap their name on it and watch the money roll in. Was playing Alien: Isolation again a few weeks ago, still holds up and the AI is incredible.
F.E.A.R. was another amazing game, shame the series went downhill with 2 and then fell off entirely with F3AR.

I feel The Evil Within is also opportunistic for getting better known as a publisher in Japan. Resident Evil is very popular with Japanese gamers and no doubt quite a lot will be getting this spiritual successor.
I really hope The Evil Within succeeds commercially and critically. It'll show that their is still a market for big budget survival horror games. And prove that you don't need to change your game to have more action to make money.
lets support the hell out of this game.
Amen guys, I know I am sure wanting it to succeed and support will show that games like Silent Hill 1 and 2, Resident Evil 1,2, & 4, among some other's that we still care about these games!
This game should have a live action intro like the original resident evil :) would be awesome
