playing battlefield on this would be MIND BLOWING... and great excersize too! I can't wait for the REAL next gen gaming (oculus rift)... not just jacked up consoles.

Imagine RPGs on this too.. this is fking crazy! Freaking fantasy worlds and feel like ur inside them.

oh yea, flying jets (in bf3) with the ability to feel like you're inside the cockpit, then having to parachute out.... insane. MOST people who have played with the oculus rift say that they feel vertigo when looking over the side of a ledge...

Okay NOW I want one. Before this I figured the only good games for this thing that were as immersive as they should be would be ones in which you played as a paralysed man who can only move around by using an electric wheelchair, since you'd know your legs weren't moving. With this treadmill though it looks amazing. With some added Kinect style thing to tell when you're crouching this could be the perfect way to play.

Word on the street is that the retail version of Oculus will also track movement on the Z axis. So moving forward, back, possibly crouching could be tracked without any kind of Kinect sensor. Personally though, I'm not a fan of the treadmill. I'm plenty immersed on the couch, sitting comfortably. That fancy gun mouse button isn't necessary either. I prefer the control input that doesn't pin the crosshairs to the center of the screen. I just want a wide field of view with the ability to look around freely. I just wonder if consoles will support it (not likely).

64 bit support is not the same as a next gen upgrade. 64 bit has been used for like 12-15 years now?
