So...this means you buy into vgchart numbers? You really are a 360 nut by trade, thanks for letting the world know of your hate towards a lovable and recognized brand.

What should be noted is not what the numbers are but the games being released by these companies. Its just amazing to see how quickly the ps3 went from 10 million away to a mere few millions, from no games to a wide selection of games despite arriving later at a premium price. Thats an impressive fact,now if gravitating towards an inaccurate sales chart floats your boat then enjoy yourself while you are at it.

Nevertheless game sales have been on the decline, i think the industry could use a fresh bash of consoles and a better pricing model for the platforms and their games.

Nintendomination? interesting considering wiiu's current predicument, but its good to know Nintendo still has a few loyal fans around, god knows what the world would be like without you guys around to support its ideal of what a next gen console should look and perform like.

3DS is doing great right now and the very same loyal fans who turned on Nintendo when it first release(the 3DS) are back to ride the sattle(nothing new here). Overall, all these companies are doing okay, considering how saturated the market has become and how weak the economy has been. For this i say, congratulations to all.

I love how people brag about/dismiss Vgchartz numbers depending on whether or not they are in their favor.

People will bash one console for having low Vgchartz numbers, but they will say the numbers are inaccurate if they are low for their preferred hardware.

At this point in their life cycles, the DS and Wii should be the supplemental income producer, and not the Wii U.

I wouldn't say the worse, but yeah, we definitely have a good number of airhead gamers over here, lol. Regardless, a good number of friends along with myself actually prefer JRPGS, RTS games, etc. The games where you can just lose yourself for hundreds of hours. Such great times.

Your right so many FPS/Shooter fans in the U.S. they are one of the reason why game makers are afraid to make new games aside from shooters. but there are still those who take risks like quantic dream and a lot of indies. But im still greatful because there are still many fighting games and hack and slash games like DMC, metal gear rising. any genre would do. shooters are really saturated I tell you. Its like the sidescrollers in the 8bit and 16bit era. RPGs will never get old and also survival horror. I cant wait for bethesda and shinji mikami's the evil within if you caught that news.
