Im not out to change anyone's view of the wii-u. I like the idea, i see potential and I'm a patient person. I know the games will deliver.

Now if there will be some sort of update as to when 90's arcade racer is coming out.....looking so forward to that game.

i think to many wii-u will be a failure because it won't sell as much as wii, but that's like saying ps3 failed because it didn't sell as much as ps2 or psp failing even though it sold 60 plus million

all wii-u needs are games and a lot of games, i still don't understand how these publishers launch new systems without games. we went through the same thing with ps3

i hope MS and Sony are taking notes because we needs games at launch

i don't see wii-u selling 60 plus million but it will do alright, as always nintendo is stuck in the middle, they are not next gen and people are tired of last gen. and the message of wii-u is very confusing to those not 100% familiar with gaming. if they had called it wii2 or wiiHD IMO that would have been better for consumer awareness

It was the 1st Nintendo console after Wii, it improves on the Wii, it will compete with ps4 and 3rd xbox, and if ps5 and 4th xbox come out and if Nintendo makes a console after Wii U, said console will compete with other said consoles. So what's current gen about it?

Just got a ps3 for the god of war collection but I'm playing a ton of need for speed and monster hunter with the 3ds also.

Being playing with java script on it a little also. Pretty impressive.

I usually don't get Lego games but wow I like this better than gta. Nintendo land Pikman made me a believer along with the Zelda and metroid games. It really is too bad people are simply ignoring this console.

I also still have to beat ninja gaiden and zombiu.

The graphic heavy games have not even started yet. So I'm good right now. Plus indies are doing a good job on this system.

Right now I really like it but it does feel like it's in beta. Zen pinball, blops2 and MH3U is keeping me busy for now. Until nintendo updates the system features and it gets a few more titles to justify it's existence. I still wouldn't recommend someone else to pick one up yet. Especially since by end of year (likely just before ms and sony drop their system) we'll likely see that price drop a tad.

Best system I've had since n64. and could surpass it once the hard hitters hits. the system is just pure fun. games had lost that for a while. at what point did games turn into trophies/achievements? I had missed the days of just picking up a game and playing it to enjoy it. and wiiu owners are the ones paving the way for its return. hence why cod didn't fair so well on wiiu. we love games for fun.

To me, Nintendo consoles have been secondary consoles for more than a decade. Ever since the N64, I've never viewed it as a primary console for the hardcore gamer.

I understand that there are people out there that still want to play Mario, Zelda, and Metroid games, but I the market for these games is dwindling IMO.

These might not be your types of games, but you should give Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Lego City a look. I'm thoroughly enjoying these games. I have 50 hours in Monster Hunter and I haven't gotten bored at all yet.

i love the interface and controller and how little space the console takes up. Its also the best netflix machine out there. Mario, Lego City, and sonic racing have all been awesome games.

Of course I still like my Wii U, I have about 10 games for it, but it needs some of the Nintendo staples, Mario 3D, Zelda, Mario Kart, Metroid, Smash Bro's, Starfox, Mario Party and Animal Crossing.

I'm sure I'll like it when there are core franchise titles on it, like Zelda, Mario Kart, etc, and I'd like it even more if Nintendo would make a trophy/achievement system, there's really no excuse not to have one.
I've been gaming for 20 years, achievements/trophies are not necessary, but I like them, and I personally get more value out of my games with them...as silly as it is.

I'm loving it still. Played the crap out of Nintendo land, scribblenaughts and nsmb then during the dry period I caught up on the wii games I wanted to play but couldn't since I skipped the wii. Now I'm playing Lego city and looking forward to the rest of the year for releases.

It's really a great system and its a shame people are hating on it purely because they are afraid of the new controller (which still surprises me how comfortable and natural it is.) there are a tons of games for it, a lot may not be to people's taste but Lego city, mass effect, batman, assassins creed are all amazing with it and need for speed has even been proclaimed as the better version by the devs.

Honesty it's made my Xbox more used then it was since January and I playe my fill of halo 4. Still play my playstation lot but my wii u has had a lot of attention.

My internet browsing is now almost completely done on the gamepad and on my slow days at work I can hook up the system and play on the gamepad which is AWESOME. I love it, can't wait for Bayonetta 2!

I agree with everyone that there could be more games, but I'm using this opportunity to get through my backlog on 360, ps3, and also using the wii mode to catch up on some lesser known wii titles that have turned out to be really underrated. Yep. There was an annoying drought from December to late March, but with games like Lego City, Runner 2, Toki Tori 2, Need For Speed, Monster Hunter all out in the last month or so, I've been very busy.

I use it everyday to watch Netflix and YouTube. The browser is incredible and I love the controller for navigation.

Fatty likes his, though he doesn't use it very much. Fatty's enjoying the 30-cent classic games, though, and there will eventually be some great exclusives (LEGO City Underground was a lot of fun, too) down the line.

Basically, it's not my primary, or even my secondary gaming unit right now, but it has potential and is giving me just enough to keep powering it on during the lean times.

its ok but not great yet. The firmware is not ready and super slow. No good Nintendo games except Mario and a Half version of COD with no DLC. It is great for my kid though.

I still love it, got monster hunter but not played it much as I have been playing Lego city and just got skyrim dlc for ps3 (a year late) so keeping me busy, can't wait till windwaker hd as I stoped playing the gc version when it got announced. if you've played on the system and don't like it, fair enough but theres a lot of mindless hate towards it at the moment, can't wait for e3 and I'm skint at end of year with ps4 comming, pokemon and zelda on 3ds, watchdogs, GTA etc there's too much coming out this year in gaming in gereral.
