Injustice: Gods Among Meh- A Preview

Chris "Dot" Penha writes "I love comic books, but I’m an even bigger fan of fighting games so Injustice: Gods Among Us seemed like it was going to shotgun it’s way into my heart and onto my console. Then I played it and my expectations were shattered, the weeks of watching the Battle Area seemed wasted, my hype had been assassinated."

Just played the demo and not impressed its too slow and too clunky just like MK9

I found it to be much faster paced than mk9 by a million miles. I mean I haaaaated mk9 with a passion and found it to be nothing more than a special move spamfest with little focus on melee attacks and good juggling.

I've played this demo a ton though, and really enjoyed it. I'm sure balancing needs to happen, but my roster of toons was only three, and they seemed equal, but quite different.

For me, the flow is superior to mk9. I hope it feels this way when I can play the full roster.

MK9 is better. Injustice is about as broken as MvC with its environmental damage doing about 18% of your life and then being able to do unblockable combos for around 100% of your life. The game has no balance and is just trying to cash-in on the DC franchise.

I've lost all hope for any good fighting games based on DC. This is MK vs DC all over again without the MK.

Both games (Injustice and MK9) are good games, what tha hell is everybody talking about? MK9 was far from being slow, it was actually one of the most fast paced fighting games created in years, while I do agree that there are far more faster Versus fighters, the fact of the matter is that MK9 was a solid game with great action.
