Capcom: 'Novelty wearing off' among fans for brawler HD updates

It seems Capcom are drawing a close to their run of HD updates to brawlers as sales are slowing down, reveals Capcom's SVP Christian Svensson. They won't be giving all their fighting titles a HD makeover.

Svensson outlines a lot of the hurdles they must clear in order to get "PS1, PS2 and PSP ISOs on PSN." It's not pretty. In truth they've "probably run the course of feasible titles" getting onto PSN.

Shame they didn't get to Rival Schools before they made this decision.

And SF alpha 3. I want it online on current systems so it could be packed like an arcade again.

Capcom is always so stupid... Like seriously, they do this on purpose or what? Fans ask for stuff then Capcom comes and creates or remakes stuff people don't give a crap about, the game flops and then they say that people don't have interest!

People want more CVS, they make SxT and remaster Marvel Super Heroes.
People want MMX sequel, they make MM10 and remaster Ducktales.
People want new update for MVC3, they make another one for SFIV and SxT (but SxT scene is already dead! But funnily enough the game has more characters than MVC3...).
People want DMC5, they give the IP to a new developer to reboot it.
People want a new Darkstalkers game, they come and give us an outdated crap that looks like it as made for the Snes.

And the list keeps going and going. It's a miracle Capcom hasn't gone bankruptcy due to their stupidity. I think it's resident Evil which is keeping them alive though. The games are crap but people buy millions of them anyway just because of the brand name.
