Push Square: "Buzz is an important thing in this industry. Publishers invest millions of dollars into marketing teams, community managers, and press events to ensure that their games launch with the maximum amount of excitement surrounding them. New hardware releases tend to manufacture that anticipation all on their own, but just because the fervour surrounding the PlayStation 4 is already at fever pitch, doesn’t mean that Sony can afford to take its foot off the gas. And that’s why a second media event makes a lot of sense for the manufacturer."

Thought Sony was holding a second event before E3?
@Godmars that was a rumor.
OT:I hope they do they can maybe show some more games.Along with new things about the PS4 like how Gaikia will be used etc...and at E3 they can finally show the PS4,talk about the price,Show some another few titles.,talk about how PSN is reinnovated etc...
The amount of hype/buzz/exposure that resulted from the first meeting has got to be worth the money of putting together a second.
when is the next e3?
lol they dont even need to have another event untill e3 but if they did they can focus on one of several things and still have ammunition for E3 to bribng down the house! They can focus on Gakai, Cross play between vita/ps4, social features or hardware!!!! Or they could just pick out one of the best devs. this generation in Santa Monica, Naughty Dog or Media Molecule and showcase one of those top hitter games along with more Killzone and that in itself will generate more buzz. They have alot of big boy toys to play with!!!!!!
