It's hard to say which game is the best of 2013 so far. But two games are in a dead heat for worst: Aliens: Colonial Marines and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
Too many games aren't given a second shot. We at VGU choose which games we would love to see receive a sequel.
The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.
The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Player 2 takes some quiet time to look back at some of the most hyped failures of the past 10 years.
Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.
Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.
Thanks to a bustling mod community on Steam, Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines actually has a stellar multiplayer experience to offer these days.
A:CM is the greater of two evils.
A lot of people and myself included didn't really high hopes for survival instinct especially after seeing that youtube video of its gameplay footage.
A:CM on the other hand, fooled a lot of us especially with that E3 video. The final product was nowhere near what we seen in that video. Gearbox drop the ball, again first DNF and now A:CM. It seem like the only GB is good at is Borderlands.
Alien colonial marines, to have been waiting since 2008 the end result really disappointed
Enslaved is worst than both.
It's like comparing cat crap with dog crap, both stink no matter how much you twist
Aliens may be more disappointing, but The Walking Dead is the worst game of the two.
