Defiance, as it stands, is a stunningly uninteresting game; cynically cashing in on the popularity of popularized sci-fi games like Borderlands 2 in order to tempt gamers to purchase premium bolt-on content and XP boosts. It is another example of a developer ticking all the boxes, offering the minimum, and throwing together something marketable. This wouldn’t be such a bad thing if the game were any good.
After 8 years of Defiance and 3 years of Defiance 2050, both titles are being sunsetted on April 29, 2021.
gamigo confirmed that it has acquired major assets from Trion Worlds, known for online and console MMO games such as Rift, Defiance, Trove and ArcheAge.
"Making sure to accommodate the 4K resolution is both a benefit and a hurdle with game development," says Defiance dev.
I seen an article in gameinformer that MS will be releasing an Xbox One F. $899 with 8% increase over Xbox One X. First time I seen or heard anything about it. Is it true or was it a joke?
If X could do 60fps compared to Pro 30fps may be it would matter more. Otherwise both can do well over 1080P which is more than enough. Games is what matters most.
Yep. £34.99 on steam (typical pc game price £29.99) plus a bunch of overpriced pay to win shit built in. Glad I didn't buy this shit, feel sorry for suckers who did. Suckers.
I'm not here to discredit the authors opinion, but I absolutely love this game so far.
It feels exactly how I hoped it would(twss).
If you like what you've seen of the game, go for it.
I've had a blast playing solo, which is the best compliment I can give to an mmo.
Co-op amps the fun up sevenfold.
I really hope that the show is good, because the game sure as hell is.
Ya I think it's really fun so far.
I knew it would flop (much like the TV Show).
Haven't posted in a while, but this game is fun. Turn on number damage, play around with modding weapons for cool effects, jump on a dune buggy and ride! Its not a typical MMO, its not a typical shooter, so due to its hybrid nature its getting a lot of flak. But I m enjoying it for what it is. 20 hours in and thats good for me as I jump from game to game like nobody's business.
