Tales of Xillia U.S. release date set

Tales of Xillia, Namco Bandai’s 15th anniversary Tales RPG, will launch for PlayStation 3 on August 6 in North America, the publisher confirmed at a media event in New York yesterday.

Dude, that's actually a really good date for this game. As far as I know, it's not competing with any major titles and it's in the middle of summer, a season that's often light on big releases.

Besides, I'm just happy it's coming out this year. Love this series.

ever since final fantasy started going downhill, Tales series has been my favorite jrpg series :)

Dragon's Crown is releasing the same day, and Time and Eternity is releasing a couple weeks before. It could be considered competition, although I think Xillia is more anticipated. Don't want to see RPG's compete like this since I like both Atlus, NIS, and Namco.

OTOH, RPG fans are likely to pick up the ones that appeal to them anyways. Past year or so has been pretty good for us.:)

Come on we still need the sequel too , after august it will all be about next gen hype and there's a very good chance that we won't see the second part localized , which would be a disaster for us.
