Take your sweet time, TGC. I want the next game to have such a huge impact that will garner attention from museums all across the world.

It stinks to see that, but then again inspiration doesn't operate by a schedule.

Ezz20134032d ago

yeah i agree
most people got angry over the last of us get delayed to one more month
but i was happy to hear that
dev's should take all the time they need to make the game as good as possible

I agree completely. You don't buy a new car thats got problems because the dealer tells you they'll fix it in a month or two. You want it to be right from the moment you drive off the lot.

Get the game right before you put it in our hands. I can wait.

strangelove4032d ago

I waited a million years for Journey, so I guess I can wait another million for whatever is next.

He left? We should apply for the job.

BitbyDeath4032d ago

So their next title is a PS4 exclusive then?
I was under the impression they were going multiplatform.

KwietStorm_BLM4032d ago

Where did you get that its PS4 exclusive?

BitbyDeath4032d ago

Speculation, what other publisher would let a project go on for that long other than Sony?

RememberThe3574032d ago

That does raise the question as to who's publishing their new game. They might not have a publisher yet. And since they're making money off Journy maybe they have the funds to self publish.

grassyknoll4032d ago

They're getting paid by a group of venture capitalists, so their it's no traditional publisher.

KwietStorm_BLM4032d ago (Edited 4032d ago )

That's not speculation, that's just baseless thinking. Any publisher could take it. Is there some general consensus that Sony and only Sony allows devs to take their time? Its not even like its been 10 years. They just started work on it, and even 3 years is well within the normal time frame for a game, AND this is all just based on the words of a guy who isn't even working on it anymore lol. This is all also ignoring the fact that they already said their next game was multiplatform.

Finding Solace in 'Journey'

BY JOHN: As winter approaches, I find myself searching out "cozy" games that I can play when I need a break from the high-octane action and intense competition found in most modern games.  If you're feeling a little jaded by mini-maps covered in icons and a list of quests and side-quests a mile long, I have the perfect game for you.  A serene masterpiece for those looking for a port in the storm.

That game is Journey.
