Seeing how few physical games are being released currently and the praise it's been getting from the Indie community, the WiiU is pretty ripe atm. There are releases for the eShop every week, tho I can't comment on their success

Interesting that they ignore the wiiu with the amount of praise it has received by indies. They removed a lot of restrictions both nintendo and other companies had, they dont charge for patches, the eshop is doing a good job at highlighting indie games, they have complete control over pricing. The games have enjoyed financial success..

Honestly, right now the WiiU seems to be the best for indies, though the PS4 seems like it will adopt a very open approach to indies as well so it should be a nice place for them aswell

Sony is most dedicated to indie developers right now. MS has a bad rep when it comes to working with indie developers. Numerous devs have said what a pain in the ass it is to work with them.

I really like the direction Nintendo is heading in for indie support, but at the moment Sony has the upper hand.

Xbox but soon to be PS3 / Vita when sony get there Unity deal done and with XNA closing. I am talking from personal experience here.

Right now its Wii-U....all indys seem to be jumping on board due to how easy it is to get the game on the system. All have said positive things who have already had games on the console, and if Nintendo is smart they will continue this support of these small indy developers. Many big third party studios have turned their backs on Nintendo, so Nintendo can help mold and support the younger smaller devs......they will remember who helped them and support Nintendo in the future when they get bigger.
