He bashed God Of War half of the video and praised The Walking Dead survival instinct.

Allow me to clear up your confusion:

1.) Yahtzee has never cared for what metacritic has to say after actually playing both games and constructed an opinion of them.
2.) He didn't praise Survival Instinct, only elucidated what he liked about the "survival" part. He pointed out faults in plot and shooting for it.

I know he's never cared for metacritic I was just pointing out that the walking dead is clearly a bad game. I watch Yahtzee's reviews regularly.
He just seemed to be praising The Walking Dead and then slamming GOW and to me that's just dumb.
I mean the basic AI in The Walking Dead is broken.

He "bashed" one or two aspects of God of War and how they're milking the franchise dry and praised Walking Dead:SI for trying some free form, procedural survival stuff. He gave GOW3 a very positive video, too, so it's not like he has something against it.

His videos aren't even technically "reviews" anyway.

Yahtzee on point again. I feel like the FP TWD game was just wasted potential. It was an okay zombie survival game that looked crap. It should've been polished a bit more before release IMO.
