ChristmasMelon: "Personally, I am very skeptical of Battlefield 4, as it seems to be absolutely pointless..."
Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect
The shooter genre is one of the most beloved videogame genres in the gaming community, and rightfully so. From DOOM Eternal to Battlefield 4, passing through The Outer Worlds, the Xbox Game Pass has a lot to offer when it comes to amazing shooter experiences. Come check out some great shooter games available on Xbox Game Pass!
There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.
A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.
KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."
though i'm not as 'bitter' as he is, and actually glad they're coming out with a new console version.... i agree with his points about the lack luster trailer. Copy and paste formula
The trailer was okay in my opinion and I didn't expect a whole lot since it is a modern military first person shooter. What I was hoping to see was multiplayer footage showing a greater degree of destruction compared to Battlefield 3 but even that I took with grain of salt due to the comparison of the later trailers to the game at release (The destruction in Battlefield 3 looks better but pales in comparison to the Bad Company series in quality. The disappointment in not having falling rubble throw players off balance like in the trailers....)
Things like the above and other trailers just leave a bitter taste in my mouth when previewing anything because yeah I know they are made to persuade gamers into buying their product but so many lies stacked on what actually is being sold which leaves many people like myself after purchase saying "well I guess Ill have to make due...." instead of "the game delivered in everything it showed me!!!"
Maybe I am getting older or I have grown more pessimistic to my favourite hobby due to all that have occurred.........
They really didn't even show off the destruction with the reveal trailer. That large explosion was pretty nice... almost mimics the real effect to the T and the rubble falling down after the explosion was a nicely added effect. Watching everything break up as the helicopter was shooting out the windows was well done... ignore the walk way falling apart because that's where you eyes seem to want to focus. It's got all the little details there for you to notice.
