I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that
The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.
The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.
MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
I know people! Hayter IS Snake, whether it be Naked or Solid, but it's not the end of the world.
I would have been more upset if Hayter didn't voice Solid Snake anymore.
Some will bring up that he is a clone but Solidus nor Liquid sounded the same. And others will say "how can his voice change so drastically from Peace Walker?"...well, it's a video game. Things don't necessarily have to make sense or follow the same rules in real life.
Hopefully Doyle voices Big Boss. He did a fantastic job in his short role as the iconic soldier. Also, don't rule out a possibly ruse. Might not be likely but marginally feasible. It is Kojima after all.
nb4 New Snake becomes butchered like New Cole (Infamous 2; new look & voice with no in-game story to talk about the change).
Honestly, he was good, but I think I liked him more because ...wel that's what the character was built off...not the fact that he's a good voice actor or anything... I mean a lot of the times...he barely sounds good if you really look into his acting lol...
I just hate it when they change actors period....it's like Ryu HAzuki from Shenmue...ya english was corny and just meh acting...but it was still awesome and I can't picture it other wise. :)
