Quarter to Three: Bioshock Infinite’s infinite space, bounded in a nutshell

Quarter to Three: Bioshock Infinite doesn’t have the impact of the original game, because it doesn’t have that game’s focus. It doesn’t hit as hard because it’s wider and more dazzling, pulled appropriately into many directions and seen through many lenses, a kaleidoscopic reflection of storytellers like Christopher Nolan, Thomas Hardy, Ken Levine, the Coen Brothers, Jorge Luis Borges, Ronald Moore, Sophocles, and D.W. Griffith, inspired instead of derivative, entirely unforgettable, and deserving a life beyond the middling game where it lives.

a game like this should not get less than 9 for me
from what i have played so far

i only put this review here
just to show you guys
why we should never trust Tom Chick
i know reviews is just opinions and all
but
this guy just hate gaming
i hope he stop reviewing games for good and find another things to downplay

Bathyj4040d ago

Just because its an opinion, doesnt mean it cant be wrong.

A colour blind person has the opinion that red is green. They are wrong.

Ilovetheps54040d ago (Edited 4040d ago )

Is this the guy the gave Journey a 2/5 or something? If so, he should just stop with this crap.

CalvinKlein4040d ago (Edited 4040d ago )

Quarter to three: "everything should be more like the cutting edge call of duty series. Explosions, scripted sequences, nonexistent AI, and tiny linear levels are industry leading innovations. Not to mention the amazing 6v6 multiplayer that is really pushing the boundary of online gaming."

seriously, im sure this is what this guy thinks after reading some of his reviews. To be a good reviewer you have to be able to know quality when you play it even if you dont like it.

This guy is a hipster who loves COD because it is ironic that the only game he likes is the most popular one.

Aceman184040d ago

this F'er gave a pinball, and lego game perfect 5/5, but drops a 3/5 for Bioshock.

he's soooo full of sh*t, why is his scores counted on GR and MC?

Ezz20134040d ago

i don't know
he also give uncharted3 4/10
and halo4 2/10

i'm waiting for the 1/10 for god of war ascension from him

i really hope he drop review gaming by the time The Last Of Us is out
i will kill him my self if he give it low score like Bioshock Infinite score

This guy again.

Gave Halo 4 a 1/5 and dropped the metascore from 90 to 87.

Gave Journey a 2/5

Well at least the PC version isnt going down since he reviewed 360.

PatMcCrotch4040d ago (Edited 4040d ago )

And gave black ops 2 a 4/5.

Blastoise4040d ago (Edited 4040d ago )

He gave Halo a 1/5, PS all stars a 1/5 and Uncharted 3 a 2/5. The guys always trolling. Not even gonna give him a click this time.

BigStef714041d ago

Why does this guy always have to be Mr. Negative whenever a great game comes out? Seriously I wonder if he does it on purpose just to Troll great games

trouble_bubble4040d ago

60% on metacritic. One of the worst sites they've ever added. $10 says Chick's got someone on the inside lol. Consistently hipster. Something's up.

Top 10 Rarest Xbox 360 Games That Are Worth a Fortune

Twinfinite: “War may never change, but the prices of rare games do!”

"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"

1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.

Soy267d ago

I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.

gamerz267d ago

Me too. Here's the best I can do:

El Chavo Kart $90.14
NCAA Football 14 $87.72
Spiderman: Edge of Time $75.94
Spiderman Web of Shadows $75.09
Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions $67.76

Christopher266d ago

Wow, El Chavo Kart is not at all what I expected by the name. 100% looks like a Sackboy Kart game.

Soy266d ago

It's so odd that so many Spider-Man games are seemingly given lower print runs, even if they're not the best games.

jznrpg267d ago (Edited 267d ago )

Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.

sadraiden266d ago

Fallout 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the rarest games of all time.

8 Best Games Set In A Multiverse

One of the biggest TV and movie tropes in the last decade has been the multiverse, the idea of exploring multiple dimensions to uncover alternate versions of existing ideas. From both a business and creative perspective, it makes sense why established franchises are shaking things up in this way.

However, there aren't many video games latching on to this trend, as rendering multiple worlds in real-time is a difficult feat and the medium is relatively young in comparison to its contemporaries, making crossover opportunities more difficult. Still, there are a few great titles that manage enough to overcome these challenges, and here are some of the best examples.

While I love someone mentioning Planescape, not really multiverse. Planes and dimensions, yes. But, they are typically their own locations and are very rarely tied to another 'verse' let alone another plane. The only things that are directly tied are the ethereal and material planes. Otherwise, they are dimensions created of their own design and goals by the creator/owner and not comprised of 'their own version of another dimension'.
