i really dont know what microsoft is planning,
i mean they are very tight-lip when it comes to their next gen console
and they dont even pay attention to rumors?

JeffGUNZ4042d ago

Why would they? MS knows what they have and once they reveal it, all rumors will be put to sleep. MS already gave a clear clue that the next gen console will be announced during E3, as they have an E3 countdown site, which they have never done before. This site has been up before Sony even announced it's 02/20/2013 conference. Only mediocre journalists and lazy journalists seem to ignore that and continue to spin every rumor into "leaked" or "Facts".

I totally agree with what you said. But, I'm really curious of what changes (if any) were made from the supposed leaked info. There are some pretty crazy rumors out there on gaf and B3D.

JeffGUNZ4042d ago

@ Munky

It's the problem with rumors, they hear one aspect that might be true, like "always on, always connected" and spin it around and say "Rumor: next xbox won't play without an internet connection" or "xbox will spy on you". It's ridiculous. When in reality, always on always connected probably means it's always technically on, at a low setting, so when you want to play, it's instantaneous. Also, the always connected probably means what the PS3 does for PSN+ users, where it's connected so it will do downloads and maintenance when you are not using the system. Instead of looking for the most reasonable conclusion, these "journalists" spin in completely wrong to desperately get hits for their pathetic sites.

The reasoning for it being fake, could just as well be the reasoning for it to be real.
Lets just wait and see.

Looks prety lame imo though.

greenpowerz4042d ago (Edited 4042d ago )

Can people be this clueless? The logo is a joke and a slam.

It's a Y with a tear, shaped like an X. It's suppose to be saying why! MSFT why! Most likely symbolic of PS3 fanboy talking points. (casual, Kinect, apps etc)

*A new way to play* is suppose to sound legit and at the same time is code for PS3 fanboys to bash, the phrase no longer holds relevance unless MSFT has something new besides Kinect(which I doubt because 3D motion tracking is the final frontier of gaming unless there is tech like Lawnmower Man and Tron Legacy)

It's not a web logo or any kind of placeholder it's code for PS3 fanboy attacks.

AngryEnglish4042d ago

I can't for the life of me figure our why nobody has seen what this logo actually is lol, the logo and the words Xbox are made by using the black ops 2 emblem creator, don't believe me then go look yourself, the tear shape is in the editor and so are the round edged bars, the white circle and I'm sure the font for the word Xbox is the same, I don't even know how the original journo who brought this to attention didn't see that

WUTCHUGUNNADO4042d ago

No one seems to be mentioning how lame Xbox Xbox sounds... and the logo is an X in a circle. Amateur marketing at it's finest even though I know this is fake.

There's a reason they're called 'gods' and not 'regular people'. It's nice they've diversified even more but gods looking godly wasn't exactly a glaring issue with the first game.

Hey! Gods suffer from obesity and diabetes too!

Blastoise49m ago

This is the dumbest article I've read in a long time.

Michiel19899m ago

No one had an issue with that besides a very select group of people that try to push their own agenda.
