Square should reassure fans that FFvs will be released & they should also release an english version of FF-TYPE O & maybe they can recoup some of their losses knowing both games are highly anticipated!

*yawns at the usual comment about Versus XIII, that some naively think will be the messiah of Final Fantasy, without having seen much at all about it.

This piece of news isn't about Versus XIII, nor about Type 0. I'd like to play them as well, but for goodness' sake, give it a rest, it's a broken record.

JAMurida4047d ago

Agreed, every FFXIV article is bound to have someone going off about Versus XIII or some other FF game. Almost sad how predictable it is now.

Harkins17214047d ago

Probably because people really want Vs13.

When you see Vs13 announced at E3 2006 and then bits here and there you get pissed knowing that there focusing on new project instead of the one they promised 7 years ago. People have a right to bitch. Get over it. Next time skip the comments on Vs13

Abriael4047d ago (Edited 4047d ago )

@Harkins1721: It matters nothing when a game is released. All that matters is that the release has good quality.

It's not like you have nothing else to play in the meanwhile, and if you don't, your gaming horizon needs widened.

People have a right to "bitch", just as other people have a right to call them irrational. Because that's what they are for foaming at the mouth for a game of which they've seen and know almost nothing and going off topic about it on news that have nothing to do with it.

And its not like Square Japan have regularly failed in that regard. Hell, the very reason FF14 is a "Realm Reborn" is because the last realm was an expensive yet lazy effort.

Now more money's been thrown after it, its likely not going to do well regardless, certainly not close to Square's usual over exaggerated exploitative expectations of the FF name, and all that money and effort will have been wasted instead of being invested where it could have done better. Like getting Versus out the door or bringing Type-0 to the West.

Well, anyway...

I hope they let Yoshida do his thing, and not bring bullsh*t propaganda to the table during this transition.

I was actually looking forward for versus but after watching some gameplay, it ruined some of my excitement. To much of the battle system is like kingdom hearts and I hated that system, to easy.

Elda4047d ago (Edited 4047d ago )

@Abriael...Call it what you want but RIGHT NOW the MAJORITY,the MASSES WANT FFvs or FF-TYPE O or even a new good looking & playing jrpg... there are little concern about an MMO(FF-VX) knowing that Square didn't get it right the first time.

Aghashie4047d ago

@Elda

"even a new good looking & playing jrpg..."

That game already exists, its called NI NO KUNI. Now, stop daydreaming for a great jrpg and get yourself a copy.

Elda4047d ago

@Aghashie...if you must know I have NNK already & it's ok but there is nothing like playing a visual masterpiece when it comes to the FF games & I can dream may it be day or night.

Aghashie4047d ago

@Elda

pal, I also craves for versus and t-zero, but I've been waiting for too long now. so long, I don't care anymore. square enix have done nothing but average games this generation, that is why I mention Ni No Kuni, this single game is better than anything done by square enix this gen put together.

glad to know u own the game, really hope u liked it.

square enix have us dreaming for six years now, if ni no kuni was not enough to wake u up, then get comfy, you are gonna be dreaming for a long, long time.

good luck pal.

Aghashie4047d ago (Edited 4047d ago )

Really? Wada resign? Think I m not reading all the news after all. I couldn't care less. The las game I bought from Square-Enix was Dissidia 012 for PSP... wait... no, Final Fantasy 13 was the... no, that one was a rental, nevermind.

SirBradders4047d ago

News just in wada burns all traces of ffv13 aka 15 and sticks 2 fingers up at production crew. He then exits squares hq lights a cig and walks home.
