Saints Row 4 is due to launch three weeks before Rockstar's open-world giant hits the shelves on September 17.
But rather than let itself be swallowed up by Grand Theft Auto 5, Volition believes that the series doesn't pose as much of a threat to Saints Row as it once did, thanks to the team's work in differentiating itself from Rockstar's title.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
Yeah because you're a month before GTA V releases.
But probably most people won't buy this DLC made into 'full' content.
yeaaah that's right lol
I'm not worried either, I'll be getting both
Didn't play SR3 and I won't be playing SR4. I will stick with Rockstar someone who knows how to improve upon games not run out of ideas and simply ruin them.
I am all for over the top ridiculousness. I loved games like the Postal series, Crackdown, Manhunt or there was this old game on PS2 where you just ran around a mall, destroying things and killing people with super over the top weapons.. I forgot the name of it but you get my point. You can be over the top and it still be good.
Saint Rows fails at being some sort of GTA spin off and it fails at being a ridiculous game. So I will pass.
I had more fun playing GTA 3 than any Saint Rows anyway. Even if I did have interest in SR4, I would probably not touch it ever again once GTA 5 comes out.
Stupid people will buy SR4, the clever ones'll wait a little bit, save their money and enjoy a real masterpiece.
