No Justice For The Vita

Eskimo Press: Mortal Kombat is one of the highest praised Vita titles and, quite possible, the best port available and greatest version of the game. It takes advantage of all the Vitas features and does so in a unique way that is fun to play. The same studio that brought us this great fighting game is about to release their next figthter, Injustice: Gods Among us, and it running on a improved version of the same engine... but Warner Brothers are being completely hush about the possibilities of a Vita port.

They lost me at highly praised.

I'm not sure I care. It looks good, but...the last thing the Vita needs to sell the system is ANOTHER FREAKING FIGHTER!!!

TongkatAli4052d ago

I agree, but Dead Or Alive 5+ is a must buy. I'm going to get it next week, dem graphics and jiggle effects.

I wish MK looked like its console counterpart, but still the game was awesome, had all the DLC and more challenges.

rezzah4052d ago

At the same time what ever it can get might help.

They can probably even make it a digital download only. This way they don't have to pay to make physical copies.

WeAreLegion4052d ago

That's a good idea. I don't think the Vita needs help getting games, however. New games come out for it each week. Most of them are indie games, but a significant amount of them are fantastic!

xursz4052d ago

The psvita is the best platform for fighting games imo, I say bring it on, bring em all on.

Seriously I'd definitely like this, DoA5 isn't really my style so this would suit me better.

belac094052d ago

better port than p4g? this article is ridiculous!

sherimae24134052d ago

just give me persona 4 arena instead ^_^

persona 4: the golden + persona 4 arena = absolute justice for vita ^_^

Protagonist4052d ago (Edited 4052d ago )

Yesssss! Persona 4 Arena (Ultimate)... or Catherine!...(hmmm maybe I should start playing Catherine, which I purchased several months ago, before actually wanting it for the PS VIta ;O)....... )

Sako4052d ago

The title isn't about the Vita not getting any justice. it's a play on words that Injustice might not be coming to the vita, which is a shame as the Mortal kombat port was fantastic

They really mean they are pivoting to slot machines on mobile devices.

I don’t think there ever was a time for GaaS. Its entire resistance is revolved around making a game that generates recurring revenue constantly throughout its lifetime. It’s straight up a corporate scumbag design.

I watched the video seeing if anything changed since the initial Suicide gameplay vid before the delay and it looks the same. So weird watching all the characters just start a gun to their back and bounce super high shooting with no kick-back animation in an empty dead world. The voice acting is cringe and there doesn’t have any sense of atmosphere or immersion like the Arkham games.

And they expect you to pay $70 to $100 for this and then pay more for Battle Passes and items to make grinding less a chore. Yea, no thank you. I hope you learn a hard lesson with this one.

yea, because thats what people want, especially after those games sold millions and are not live service games haha.

so dumb haha.

Genius executives at work. "hey, what we're doing is working great. Let's change it."

LOGICWINS168d ago

"Invasions" is technically free live service game with new content every 45 days. It's the best mode MK has ever had IMO. As a single player gamer, it gives me a reason to stick around after the story mode.

garos82168d ago

You have a terrible taste in games

-Foxtrot168d ago

I feel like their whole approach relies on how the Suicide Squad sells

Flewid638168d ago (Edited 168d ago )

Wait....why does live service = bad?

Oh great, looking forward to the sh*t future of gaming. Thanks industry!

PunksOnN4G168d ago

New mk sold less then the last in the same time frame the NEW MK is legit a live service game with its horrible monopoly board. I just wanted a normal title...

FatalityX77168d ago

It's not on older hardware, so that's why it seems less. No ps4/xbox one versions.

Sgt_Slaughter168d ago

I doubt older hardware would make a difference, given the ratios of sales of other multi-gen games

PunksOnN4G168d ago

Nah the new MK full of live service shit even the singleplayer monopoly board they gave use instead of a normal kyrpt says enough and sales reflect that also this MK is very combo heavy it not noob friendly what's so ever like others

Flewid638168d ago

Wasn't the last one a live service game?

MehmetAlperTR168d ago

More live services.. LOL.. i hope you ll see the deep.
