The Vita is a great bit of tech, but it is severely under-performing at the moment, which isn’t fair.
The article describes 5 points that would dramatically help the Vita
Hideo Kojima is widely known as a video games auteur, but what are his best games outside the Metal Gear franchise?
Gary Green said: Today’s review actually comes as a request from a reader who took the time to message me. I’m always happy to listen to requests, and whilst I can’t always accommodate every single one, there are certainly times where I can, especially if it helps readers make an informed decision about where to start with a complex, long-running franchise, and, of course, makes for a fun playthrough for me.
Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
1. It doesn't need reviving
2. A price drop has already shown how well it can stimulate sales
3. Articles like this just need to go away.
This article is invalid. All those things are all pretty much inevitable. And what does he mean the vita needs PS4 integration when Sony clearly stated that the PS Vita will be fully integratable with it already? It would be stupid for Sony not to drop the price worldwide by E3, along with a plethora of new games. Sales will utterly SKYROCKET if this happens and once the PS4 comes out, OH LAWD don't get me started!
Why stuff like this even gets approved?
And no, only thing Vita really needs is games that sell well in Japan. Handheld games market is pretty much dominated by the Japanese.
I don't understand the constant steam of doom for Wii U and Vita. They both needs games, that's it. Just games. The Wii U finally got some games this month so things look to be getting better. And once the Vita price drops hits this E3, you should see a increase in Vita sales.
Fun games. Imagine if it had game sales like Steam.
