I played the PC version on high settings(which didn't really take much power to do) and I don't see much difference here.

Diablo 3 isn't that good graphic-wise anyways,the game was fun though .. for a while !

Yeah this game isn't demanding whatsoever so i don't see how there would be much difference. It's built for low end pcs.

Not going to play it though. Everyone just complains about how short this game is and how there is no point in playing it beyond 1 playthrough because it doesn't have pvp. Honestly you're better off playing god of war ascension because the multiplayer pvp/pve is fantastic!

Blizz lost my business when they started doing yearly expansions and catering to people who don't play games over their longtime core players. i can't stand sellouts.

Also, I'm assuming the online auction won't come to the console versions which is both a good thing and a bad thing depending on how you look at it.

+ You cant just buy power and you no longer have to deal with griefers saying stuff like you just bought your gear

- It's a feature they spent a lot of time and resources on that's stripped from the game.

Now PS3 gamers can also experience the "joy" of act 3 farming.

Does look a lil rough. Happy to be getting this on PS4. 1080p and AA would make the game look quite better.

MasterCornholio4051d ago

Im pretty sure that a game like this could run at 1080P on the PS4. I am just surprised that they released screenshots of the PS3 version instead of the PS4 version.

My main concern with the PS3 version of this game is framerate.

I'm happy & looking forward to this game. I felt that there wasn't enough ARPG's for this gen. I'm kinda tired of 1st & 3rd person view games. Hopefully this stays in top-down view.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein83d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera392d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33391d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.

Diablo III Season 28 Brings a New Use for the Staff of Herding

Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. One of things needed is the Staff of Herding, which also unlocks the famous Cow Level known as Whimsyshire.
