Telltale's walking dead games were great, it was definitely my top 5 in 2012 just because of the emotional impact it had on me... But technically speaking, they were awful. The amount of frame rate problems or game freezes makes no sense when you consider how little processing power this game should be using.

Their engine needs to be fixed. I really hope season 2 does not have these issues.

I agree the frame rate thing was weird for a visually less demanding type of game.

On another note, an fps walking dead game could be awesome if created by the right team. I guess not like this one.

I'm not defending this game but why should TT only do The Walking Dead...the point and click games they done wern't that good like many people claim them to be, pretty over rated in my opinion. I felt hardly no emotional attachment to any of them.

Just because TT did a good Walking Dead game dosen't mean they should be the only ones to do it

I don't want a point and click WD game, I want to get in on the action. I would love to see a third person open world survival game from someone where you start in a small estate and only can venture out into the big world once you've raided homes and collected/improved a lot of your stuff. You know those perks in Fallout New Vegas the medical and survival ones they would be great in a game like this.

Based on the technical performance of the TT WD game, I do not believe they would be able to produce a solid FPS game. Sure, they can do story when Kirkman is sitting on their shoulders watching, but the technical aspect of a FPS game is incredibly important. This is something they did not do well previously.

This game is not that bad really.... Not the greatest game ever but not that bad either. This one is completely Activisions fault it could have been great, but limited deadlines pretty much killed it. I did actually enjoy playing it for the most part though. If i had to rate it would be around 5-6. The stuff they tried to do with the time frame they had was kinda cool and which it could have been expanded on. You can disagree all you want everybody has different tastes in games. Yes, my local store did sell out of this game lol. I still don't think if will sell large numbers. I am not the only one that thinks this either even Amazon has some positive reviews on the game.

With the popularity of the show, this will sell pretty damn well. Hell the front of the box has the characters from the show plus AMC. Casuals will freak the fuck out when they see this on the shelves. Guarantee they will do no research and buy it ASAP.

Hope Dead Island 2 turns out good, enjoyed the first and like the RPG aspect of a Zombie Survival game. Wouldn't mind an aspect like Skyrim Hearthfire DLC, find a farmhouse and use resources to fortify it. Build up fences and a perimeter. Go out and find survivors to build your group up.

And again, Activision has shown us again how bad they can still be sometimes. They were trying to keep mayjor sites from reviewing the game by not sending them review copies. But I'm glad that the Polygon stuff bought it anyway. Activision will get the money for that one copy, but I can only hope that many, MANY more people will NOT buy the game after reading this. This whole behavious by publishers has to stop. It's really annoying for everyone in the industry.
