Bullshots vs in game screens of game from 2008.

papashango4055d ago

looks like you guys are finally wising up to Bullshots.

General rule of thumb is to not get hyped until you see gameplay.

kB04055d ago

I agree, I never take pre release screens too seriously, they are almost always a let down....

Seen in Assassin's creed and most recently Aliens Colonial.

:(

Thefreeman0124055d ago

True that, I was disappointed when I saw screens of Connor paddling a canoe only to find out it doesn't exist

ATi_Elite4055d ago

1. I play GTAIV with the IceNhancer Mod so GTAIV PC looks like this (see pic 1)

2. GTAV PC is coming out 8 months after console version and it too will get Ice Mod

LAWSON724055d ago

Source for coming 8 months after console version last time i checked there has been no confirmation of gta v pc.

ATi_Elite4055d ago (Edited 4055d ago )

GTA started on the PC

but since GTA III the PC has gotten it's version with in 8 months after the console release. This has been true for GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas, and GTAIV.

I expect the same 8 month wait time for GTAV PC

I don't understand people making such a Big deal out of No PC announcement as this has happened several times before but the PC still gets a version and GREAT MODS.

GTAIV sold 5 million PC Copies....That's good money for a Port.

kB04055d ago

@ Ati,

Look you may be right, but don't spread false rumors based on history.

It will lead to a lot of disappointments.

Eyeco4055d ago

You do have a point but then how do you explain Red Dead Redemption

aLucidMind4055d ago

@Eyeco
A studio other than R* North made RDR, I think it was San Francisco iirc. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't their only game done on PC for this and most of last gen been GTA? I don't recall seeing any of their other games on PC.

porkChop4055d ago

@aLucidMind

GTA IV, the Episodes, LA Noire, Max Payne 3 all made it to PC. And each new port was better than the previous. Max Payne 3 for example looked fantastic and ran flawlessly. GTA V will make it to PC just as every main GTA game always has. The PC versions always come out later on. I'm getting the game for PS3 but will definitely get the PC version as well when it comes out. The GTA mods are just too good to pass up.

SmokeyMcBear4055d ago

haha, why are people comparing the bullshots to a really old game now. Geez.

aLucidMind4055d ago

Anything to make PC elitists feel better about themselves while making mature PC gamers feel embarrassed by the elitists.

Bathyj4055d ago

Give me a PS4 version R*. I'll wait the extra 6 months.

Ok, when I say that out loud, thats probably why you wont announce it. :(

baldulf4055d ago

Did Rockstar said that the screens shown from GTAV are running on a PS3 (or a 360)?

Bathyj4055d ago

I'm pretty sure the trailers shown were running on PS3 and I think the screens are from the trailer.

Looking Back At 2008, An Unbelievably Incredible Year Of Video Game Releases

Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."

CrimsonWing691h ago

I don’t think anything can compare to 2023

lucasnooker1h ago

1998 - the best year in gaming! Metal gear solid, crash bandicoot 3, medievil, half life, ocarina of time, thief, tenchu, resident evil 2, Spyro, tomb raider 3, oddworld abes exodus, banjo kazooie.

It was a different breed of a gaming era. You’ll never understand what it was like back then. The aura of gaming, it was different!

KyRo1h ago(Edited 1h ago)

I second this. Gaming was a lot more varied and fun than it is today. I'm 35 so getting on compared to some here but I got to see all the changes from NES up to now but I've never felt so disappointed in any generation than I have this current gen. I was expecting more from this generation rather than prettier versions of games that came before it. Game mechanics have become so refined that alot of games feel the same and has done for a while now.

Maybe it's time to have a break for a while. I love gaming but I don't feel I get much fun in the traditional sense out of it anymore.

CrimsonWing6953m ago(Edited 52m ago)

Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, Abe’s Exodus, and Ocarina of Time are the only things from that list that I liked.

Here’s the 2023 game releases that I personally liked… and big releases that I didn’t care for:

- Dead Space Remake
- Wo Long Dynatsy
- Resident Evil 4 Remake
- Diablo 4
- Fire Emblem Engage
- Hogwarts Legcay
- Street Fighter 6
- Hi-Fi Rush
- Like a Dragon: Ishin
- Octopath Traveler 2
- Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters
- Final Fanatsy XVI (actually ended up not liking this, but it was still a big deal release)
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
- Lies of P
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Starfield (Ended up hating this one, but big release)
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (I’m an old-school Zelda fan, but didn’t really enjoy this game)
- Alan Wake 2

I mean, honestly I’ve never seen a year of major IP releases like that, ever.

GTA 5’s cut “James Bond Trevor” DLC was already part-shot, actor says

The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos1d 23h ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius1d 12h ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy851d 22h ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius1d 12h ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
