So why are GameStop employees getting this exactly? Not to put anyone down, a job is a job, but what did they do to help along the success of Assassin's Creed besides be there to take the money of the gamers that wanted to buy the game and/or incessantly push the pre-order of it?

Shouldn't gamers be rewarded for, you know, FUNDING the game?

Maybe so they will think ubi is an awesome company, thus they will speak positivly of AC4 to customers. It is common, online, that the thought of AC4 is negative (milking).

AC4 should be viewed negatively. Not necessarily because of milking but because of the fundamental shift it's taking from what Assassin's Creed started out as. I mean, no major city, de-emphasis on parkour will no doubt result because of that, an emphasis on ship battles and travel, probably more emphasis on guns. With each new game we're moving AC closer and closer to being a Hitman clone only more open world and with less options for Assassination.

You don't end the last game with Juno being set free to take over the world and not even focus on the present for the next, apparent, main title AC game.

I worked for EB Games last year (Australian GameStop contingent), and staff go to varying lengths to pre-sell (getting pre-orders and creating hype) the product to customers. The store I worked at was consistently in the top 12 in the company, a lot of that came from the number of pre-orders we made on Assassin's Creed 3. Our numbers were so good that each member of staff got a free copy of the Freedom edition from Ubisoft. We're not supposed to tell customers this, and I'm not sure the guy that got this Limited Edition cell was allowed to either. It does seem unfair though, but hype is hype. That's what GameStop employees need to do. I certainly bought into the hype of the game, and I thought it was awful. Even marketing it convinced me to believe it would be good, despite the fact that I only really enjoyed 2.

Tod McFarline is a great artist.. Cool free gift but that shouldve been sent to everyone who has an online account for AC.. Oh well, its cool & all but really? Gamestop employees? They must know that its kinda soon for an AC sequel so they want it to be marketed from every angle.. I dont see it selling as well as AC3 did.. Unless its a dual gen release
