Confirmed: Battlefield 4 Being Unveiled at GDC on March 26th

That tease about Battlefield 4 appearing at GDC has now been confirmed as invites have been sent out for the unveiling.

Yeah, if the rumors are true at all about MS securing exclusive content or an exclusivity window for Battlefield 4, you would think that they wouldn't announce the game before the next Xbox is even announced.

If they seriously pull a COD and give BF4 a dumb "timed exclusive" deal, I will not buy the game period. Unless its a measly week or two like Bf3 for PS3.

Naa, M$ will want their own show when it comes to revealing the nextbox. They're not going to piggyback such an important reveal off a third party software dev. If anything it will be during their own conference, if at all it's at GDC they reveal the nextbox

Not a reveal but more of a teaser showing actual gameplay running on the hardware. Right now Sony is in the drivers seat because the 3rd party publishers can't even talk about the new Xbox. So all games confirmed for next gen have been the PS4 and PC while not mentioning the next Xbox. We know it's coming but marketing goes a long ways. Look at how Microsoft managed to make it sound like Call of Duty was an Xbox 360 game. They don't want to fall behind and have consumers think these games won't be coming to the next Xbox just because EA and other publishers are not allowed to mention the system just yet.

Reminds me, we need rain maps. Maybe take the "Shipment" map from CoD 4, make it a drivable boat, put 4 others beside or near it, and there you have it, complete marine map with rain, and at night.

as much as I would like DICE to polish the game, highly, highly doubt that EA accept that kind of protocol. Battlefield 3 was unveiled February 2011, released October 2011. and the Battlefield 4 beta is due this year.

I don't know but nearly two years between unveil and release is very "not EA"

whatever happens I just hope we get an epic gameplay trailer like "Fault Line" most epic gameplay trailer ever!

Battlefield 3 was the last one so why bring out Battlefield 4 so soon? This game sounds like it will just be rushed. I'll wait for Bad Company 3 instead.

This game better blow me away in order to get me interested. I'm tired of all the Battlefield stuff the last two years, it's been overkill.

Better be 60 frames a second with 64 player teams on console to even begin to get me interested.

wow.. what a stupid comment.. overkill?? CoD EVERY YEAR, NOW THATS OVERKILL.. this comes out every 2yrs and delivers tons of content and hours of game play. Who cares about 60FPS (thats sounds like a stupid CoD fanboy comment).. this game and many other FP shooters run well on 30 FPS. The main thing is that game has great gameplay which all recent Battlefield titles have had.

This will only make the wait harder than it is now. We've already seen some pretty amazing looking games to come for PS4 at the end of this year, so I'm expecting nothing short of amazing in terms of visuals (not like we'll have a hands on experience just by looking at a trailer of some sort).
