Ha. I read the headline thinking it was for a "doom" article for an low-selling or upcoming console. Goes to show how the trends on this site affect you I guess.
Anyway, on topic this is pretty cool. It will be interesting to see how they balance this character with the rest of the roster.
Why did this get approved after another article containing doomsday gameplay was approved over an hour ago?...anyhow, i wasn't impressed with the character i saw. It seemed like his move list is limited but powerful, similar to Zangief i guess.
i still wanna know how they're planning on balancing the game, the thing that killed Superman, or put him into a healing coma if you prefer that version, how is anybody gonna fight Doomsday?
how would a non powered character like Catwoman last more than a nanosecond against somebody like doomsday?
i know they can balance the game from a gameplay persepctive, but when they've got well established characters with such vastly different strengths, i don't see how they can balance it and still be true to the source material.
maybe this is just the comic book fangirl in me talking, but i just can't get over that.
not saying it'll be a bad game, it could be a great beat em up, but as a lifelong reader of the comics i just have to ask how it's going to work.
