Road Rash Kickstarter could be happening, Dan Giesler ready for another game

Those games were so fun. Kicking the racers out of their bikes was absolutely delightful. I don't know if I really want another game though, but I'll definatetely give it a look if they kickstart it.

It's not that I don't want it. It's just that I'm wondering if a Road Rash game would be as relevant today as it was back then. But I'm eager to see what they will come up with, if they plan to make a sequel !

I think it'd be relevent if providing it wasn't made half arsed. Can you imagine large scale online races through towns, kicking eachother into cars and houses? Or even a Hot Pursuit styled cops chasing down racers team based online mode?.. There is no reason this couldn't be incredible.

Of course it would work it always felt much fairer being hit from the side with a kick rather than a missile from behind like in other battle racing games.

and beating them with chains and bats ... cant forget the weapons

couple hits with a chain and all of a sudden you have to move right to dodge a car.... but the other guy doesnt dodge it in time.. and he flies thru the air

Isn't Road Rash owned by EA? Why would a kickstarter for the second largest video game publisher be necessary?

Plus, we've had road rash 64 and it was horrible - bring out a new one to erase those memories

Without trying to sound like a dick, for me it's hard to be excited when only for pc. I've got a fairly powerful machine and even when I had a more up to date beast back some years I still couldn't be bothered to game on it. Still at least it's a new game in the franchise

Road Rash is probably one of my, if not favorite game of all time.
As a fan I'm happy that it will be coming back for a new generation but obviously I worry that it can taint the series.
But can you really taint something that's so itched into your own memory?
