because 90% of publishers want nothing to do with them.. They can sell 8million nx month but if 3rd party cant sell on it, they wont make anything for it.. Nintendo sells their own games well but thats where it ends.. Few gems here n there but thats it..

I wouldnt say theyre "DOOMED" but theyre in some trouble if they cant manage to keep successful 3rd party exclusives.. PS gets almost all of them & MS is getting some too

exactly. and let's be honest, apart from maybe Xenoblade 2 and another Mistwalker title (could possibly come to PS4; easy-to-develop-for platform + good working relationships with Sony) and Zelda U there's nothing of much significance coming to Wii U.

Vita AND Wii U have tough days ahead, they both need software. I just have a feeling that Vita's road to health is easier and has been forth coming. Wii U has a big challenge ahead when the true next gen arrives.

A system launch does not prove a system power. Look at
Perfect Dark Zero compared to Halo 4 and Gears of War Judgement.

That only makes sense if there was an actual leap in tech. But it has already been done before with the 360 and PS3.
The only devs that would need time to adjust and get used to the new tech would be Nintendo's own.

The numbers are for the year 2013. Much of Ni No Kuni's sales were last year.

PS3 is doing great. Looks like it will pass 360 sales this year. If that gimmick Kinect didn't come out PS3 would have been pass the 360. Sony is 1st to have all their consoles sell 70m+. That's a big accomplishment to me.

VGChartz is undertracked
They have 3DS at 29m.
When it actually close to reach 31m.
And Wii at 99.0m when Nintendo reported months ago that it was already above 99m.

PS3 sold 70m report back in Nov. and VGchartz number were greater as well as Vita number is greater than the actual numbers.

vgChartz must be trying to make up numbers for sony since they use Shipped and not sold.

You're just believing what the people on sites like this tell you. 1 years ago the gap was 3.4 million while today it's 2.3 million (according to VGChartz). You have to remember that the PS3 is outselling the 360 by around 30,000 - 40,000 a week, which means it only catches up by .1 every three or four weeks. This is why most people agree (taking the spikes into consideration) the the catch up is going to be around Nov (October if the exclusives sell stacks of PS3s).

The people who say that the gap has been at 2 million for the last 4 years and simply just lying... no other word for it.

Not necessarily. By my understanding they are loose estimates. So they may or may not be close, but they are based on some elements of facts. It would be nice if the NPD (which is much more reliable) put out official numbers for public viewing.

The fellow who does VG charts is on record as having purchased six 360 consoles due to RROD.

Anyone who clings so tightly to a brand which continually urinates and craps on your wallet, is clinically insane.

This is why the charts continually have 360 ahead of PS3 by 2 million.
