They should give free t-shirts with every headset purchase.

They should give free shares of the company with each headset purchase.

Considering their price...

ftwrthtx4064d ago

You get what you pay for, I guess.

Blacktric4064d ago (Edited 4064d ago )

True. Especially if you compare them with brands like Turtle Beach.

I have A30s but now I wish I got A40s. I think they're more comfortable now.

Astro sent me a pair of A40's to review. I'm really liking them

gninja924064d ago

what must you do to have game companies or companes that are made to go along with games like headsets. ,,, to send you their stuff to review it?

Upon further inspection, I apply my personal seal of approval... On the 5 panel hat.
Gamer swag is always welcome in my home.

I have the A50 and I love them but I have to admit they were more expensive then my console and supper overprice.

MadLad4064d ago

Damn fine pair of headphones though, aren't they? And, honestly, I don't really consider them overpriced when they are basically in-line price wise, though of a higher quality, than the other 7.1 gaming headsets out right now.
These things can actually replace a traditional surround system, considering you are only concerned about personal use, anyway. I know they did for me.

Astro Reveals Their A10 Gen 2 Wired Headset

Astro makes some amazing and very durable headsets and this looks amazing. Logitech G, today unveiled the new ASTRO Gaming A10 Gen 2 Wired Gaming Headset.

MadLad771d ago (Edited 771d ago )

Astro is quality.
Almost ten years in, my original gen A50s aren't giving me a single issue, and still go toe to toe with the best gaming headsets on the market.

I do also have a HyperX Cloud Revolver S though, and it's very much a quality surround sound headset for a fair bit cheaper.

Garethvk771d ago

Exactly. We got one years ago for the Holiday Gift Guides and my wife still uses it daily without an issue. I think I have had about 4 in that time. Yes some are for review but I can say some broke after about a year and others did not measure up. I have been using my Arctis Pro + for years now.

MadLad771d ago

Okay, funny story.
I said about a decade, but it's closer to about 7 years in actuality.
I got my pair from Best Buy back in the day. Served me well with no issues for a few years.
I was lucky enough to drop the extra cash for the 3 year store warranty.

One night my friends and I were playing BF4 deep into the morning, drinking into oblivion. I wake up the next day, I somehow knocked over a beer right into one of the earphones. It was just sitting there all night.
The headphones don't work at all.

I check my warranty and I had literally 10 days still on that 3 years.
I baggied everything to mask the smell, took it back to Best Buy and got a brand new set.

But never had an issue with it either way lol. I got lucky there.

I have been using the A10s model since I stopped using my A50s. And I have to say they are pretty good. And now the new model of the A10s are even better.

Astro Gaming's New ASTRO.ID Collection 2 Headsets are Now Available

Astro Gaming announced their new ASTRO.ID Collection 2 line for their Astro A40 TR headsets, now available to customize exclusively on their website.

MadLad931d ago

Even though they finally died a couple years ago, my original Astro A50s was awesome and lasted me for the better part of a decade.

That said, I'm using the HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and the sound is also fantastic, and far less pricey. It's just less comfortable than what I had with the A50s, not that it's uncomfortable either though. I just barely even noticed the A50s when wearing them.
