Player starts petition to add Battlefield 4 bots

A player has started a petition for the upcoming Battlefield 4, urging developers to add bots.

With the next gen AI hopefully taking a few steps forward I'd love to see a bot mode in any game where it made sense.

This is certainly something that should be added. Playing with some friends against bots is great practice, when typically human players will try and abuse any unfairness possible. Though this does mean developers will actually have to put in some sort of effort to make AI more intelligent than a brain dead toaster that alerts when you enter it's bubble of detection.

After the rounds I played this morning I swear I'd have been better off with AI team mates whatever the scenario, how is it possible, in a 500% ticket TDM for 9 of the people on your team to have less than ten kills apiece and less than ten deaths?

how about a free rome map where u can learn to fly jets and choppers.

Just find an empty Armoured Kill server and play around with the jets, the best way to learn to fly choppers is to play the co-op mission "Fire From The Sky" until you get the hang of it.

It's spelled ''ahead'', and there is always someone thinking about ideas to make a game better. The most important though is getting it out, so that it might get executed in the final product.

And I hope this will be a good enough message to Dice, to have it executed in the final game. Though it's probably EA's call, god knows how they will respond to this.

Been asking for bots and LAN mode for BF3 loooooong before its release. Best reply from community manager at the time was, that no one plays LAN anymore.

Its like yeah, no one plays LAN with bots anymore because you don't add those features in your games anymore.

Pretty much. It really sucks, because it would be nice to play newer Battlefield games with my buddies, but we still stick with 1942, or Desert combat for now. Sometime we can get up to 8 or 10 people playing LAN under one roof, its good times.

1942... XD. I downloaded the demo from origins which was actually the whole game. I started playing it and I don't know... I guess it's how badly the later generation games have spoiled me with all their eye candy and what not but it was not what I remembered it being when I first played it how ever many years ago.

So we went from single player games to online multi-player games during the current gen. If this happens we will go from online multi-player to online single player games by replacing the other players with bots. I guess if there is another "gen" after that we can replace the bots with NPCs and go back to regular old games. I, for one, can't wait!

would be awesome!! I always tought having a mode with all the online players as a team, defending a base with waves of soldiers coming in, like MW3 tried to do, but would be so much better in battlefield with vehicle coming in.

I remember when psn was down for like a month. I had more fun with bots on kz3 than I did online.
