I think this game looks amazing. As I've said before on here im not a fan of the gta games. I don't know why I just can't get into them. I also tried red dead and could not get into that but so far this game and the new Lego city look like they could be the two games like gta style that do it for me. Can't wait to get them both this year.

I think GTA 5 is overrated, series hasn't advanced a bit, it needed some rpg elements, some business and buying shops involved, recruiting members and sending them on missions.

Instead it's the same 13 years old game with some tweaks.

GTA 5 is advancing; three playable characters with interconnected story lines. New, heist style missions. Plus, knowing Rockstar, that'll be just the tip of the iceberg for this GTA. Say what you want about Rockstar and GTA, but they know how to make a fun game, and it is definitely advancing.

If they make gta 5 like San Andreas/ Red Dead Revolver it's a wrap. Watch Dogs looks great with all the gadgets you can use. I think what sets GTA series a part from everything else is you can just dive in and start doing crazy things.

The music is great and every GTA game has crazy characters to interact with.
Watchdogs might be to technical for some.

It's all going to depend on the story mood. Does the protagonist have an interesting story - to guide you in the open world?

Watch Dogs does look King Kong... but some people see Godzilla, Win and some people see King Kong, Win.

This entire article is an assumption based on speculation. There's absolutely no way to know if one will be better than the other. We have watched about 5 minutes of gameplay from Watch Dogs and zero gameplay from GTA V, not to mention the fact that no one has actually played either game. I'll reserve judgment until I play both.

I don't think it's being implied that the author knows which one is going to be better. That would be a subjective judgement anyway, unless we're presented with some sort of criteria for meassuring how good games are (no such thing, really).

It's given that it's speculative. If people need to be told that, they need to pass 5th grade.

"Better" is such a subjective word to use, it means different things to different people. Some might enjoy Watch Dogs more, some might enjoy GTA4 more. It's all relative to say the least, I mean we've gotten to the point where we pick and choose the way to judge a game, sales no longer count, and how the game scores only seems to matter when it's a suits someones argument.

Both look good from what we've seen, GTA games are always fun, Watch Dogs looks new and interesting and it's on next gen consoles.

I am a lot more excited for Watch Dogs than I am for GTA5. I really have no interested in a new GTA game. Ubisoft have done a great job this gen. Watch Dogs look really well thought out, and a breath of fresh air. GTA to me has just gotten where everytime I see the game I get the "Been there, Done that feeling". That is the reason I loved Red Dead so much it was new. Even though it was just GTA with Horses lol I don't expect the GTA fans to agree with me and that is fine. It is just how I feel on those games in general.

So far Watchdogs just looks like GTA with a cellphone that controls stuff.So i am not sure what is the big excitement is about. I went just like any GTA. Chase down a guy, jump in any car you want, have a shoot out with the police etc.with a single gimmick. Not sure how it is better then GTA despite people who keep on saying it.Watchdogs just looks different then GTA but it is still basically GTA. You are going to have to better then just looks different.

GTA IV wasn't all that. It rode the wave of GTA III and other releases. GTA IV compared to GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas, it was a huge disappointment.

I'm not super psyched for GTA V purely because the series is getting a little knackered now and overhyped.

I am a little bit psyched for Watch_Dogs, and no doubt I'll be keeping my eye out for it.

Watch Dogs will be awesome, interesting game. But I highly doubt that anyone ever will beat the freedom and laughter a Grand Theft Auto game brings.

I have just lost hope for that, every time a open-world game similar to GTA is about to come out, articles like this pop up.

Rockstar games is just the best, they're not commercial, they can realize their ideas, they have amazing designing skills and have been the closest to making a "perfect" game than anyone else. Just deal with it. I love you R*
