Stupid decision. This game is for the fans....the fans know the story inside out so far. Should have focused more on new characters

Edit-

Maki, they left out the war characters.

7 Swordsmen, Edo kages, Jounin of the other villages are lazily support only, Kingaku and Ginkaku. And left in the Pre time skip characters. They are also purposely leaving out Bijuu mode Naruto so they can use him for the next game. Even though they have him in story mode. Now, I actually like the story mode of the game...but this game is first and foremost a fighting game to appeal to Naruto fans. They didn't even bother to update half the characters. Tsunade doesn't get her seal, Juugo doesn't get his Cursed Seal mode he uses against Raikage..only a third of the characters awakenings were updated...I mean come on? Why so lazy? So much stuff was left out for the sake of the story mode.

IDK what you mean with that but there are new characters in this game.

I love the focus more on story telling this time. Thats what I loved on NUNS & NUNS2. But then came Generations and ruined it. Thanks they did it right with NUNS3.

Very few "new" characters. I'm all for good storytelling but this is a fighting game and as Irishguy pointed out, should be about the fans. CC2 got their priorities backwards imho.

I agree. Especially since they basically had a moveset with the Edo Kages, The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, and Ginkaku and Kinkaku and they still aren't playable for the multiplayer mode so unless there is some way to unlock them that I don't know about that is just laziness. (or just too much pressure to get a new game out every year when I would rather wait a little longer and get more out of it)

Not to mention how shitty the story is now.

I love that trailer! But I think they should focus a little more of the story telling. In Storm 2, I like the Pain vs Pervy Sage battle better than it was on the anime!

DLC for those missing characters?

Ps3 though.
Wasted opportunity imo :(

rezzah3025d ago

They dont want to put extra effort ($) into the oldergames.

The money made off of this will support deelopment for the upcoming season pass.

yuukiliu3025d ago

If it was for PS4 that would be amazing. Play through the whole story on 1 system!

LAWSON723025d ago

Recently just bought 2 at GS for $6 and ordered 1 for $17 off eBay, so even if this did come to NA I am to invested to get this.

Top 7... Attacks that Casually End All Life as We Know It

GamesRadar - Video games are known for letting us mere mortals wield ludicrous amounts of power. You are the Master Chief, the Free Man, or the Chosen One, destined to save mankind and somesuch. Over the course of your journey, you unlock increasingly spectacular weapons and abilities. A crowbar gets replaced by a rocket launcher, a puny fireball becomes a gigantic meteor. Eventually, however, things get a little out of hand.

The Top 8 Games Based on Anime

IGN - Like all the cool special edition PS4s, Japan keeps the best anime video games for itself. Unless it’s from a super popular series like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto, then there’s sadly little chance of games based on anime making it to North America. If a game does receive an official translation, it’s usually several months to years after the initial Japanese release, such as with J-Stars Victory VS+.

Even so, a few gems have made it to North America over the years. Whether you're a huge anime fan or just a gamer looking for some stylish action, you can't go wrong with these 8 awesome anime adaptations.
