Still doesnt make sense. A game based on popular DC characters to sale the game, those choices were all stupid. Aquaman was an honorable mention? He should of been #1 choice. Marcus Fenix, really? Not connected to DC in the slightest. Is this wishful thinking to match Kratos being in Mortal Kombat? While Marcus could be in a MK game, it would be as stupid as Kratos in MK or Link, Spawn, Heichi in Soul Caliber, but passable. Injustice is for DC characters only, keep dreaming though.

Anything Justice League from this point on is considered serious business. There will be no guest characters like Freddy Krueger showing up. This is about the stars of the DCU and not Microsoft's #2 mascot...

As for the rest of your list, Stompa and MR. Bones? C'mon man...

For the PS3 version, they should include Cole from the inFamous series. Just like how they included Kratos from GoW into the latest Mortal Kombat.
