NE: "Runner2 is an absolutely lovely game. We suggest that you grab it from the Wii U eShop when you have the chance. There is just one problem with Runner 2′s release: lock-up issues."
“There are definitely more interesting 2D platformers on the market but that doesn't mean Runner2 is a bad choice for fans of the genre to check out either; particularly, if you like having your reaction speed challenged.” - Martijn van Gent from Video Chums.

There is hardly anything wrong with this addictive and utterly crazy game. From the moment the utterly bizarre advertisement pops up and Charles Martinet’s voice flows through the speakers you know you are in for a crazy and delightful experience.
There is so much to keep you entertained with this Cross-Buy title and the desire to play it through twice is an easy choice to make. BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend Rhythm Alien is mad fun for the whole family and I cannot recommend it enough.
Runner2 is the new (or old) 2D sidescroller, PlayStation 4 release by Gaijin games, which came out back on February 24th but if you’ve been paying attention you’ll probably know that the game was released on other platforms back in 2013.
I'll wait for the cheaper PSN release, then.
I am sick of the WiiU locking up. Happens primarily with Hulu but it happens almost EVERY time.
The Wii U is NOT fully baked and was released IMHO 12 months ahead of their proposed schedule. Since there was no chance in hell that the WiiU could go head to head with 2 additional new consoles this coming holiday they simply pushed it out.
This is why the OS is not optimized, why there is a massive mandatory software update, and why there are no games being released.
Boo Nintendo. You pulled an MS move, and now you need to make it right. At this point I am predicting fewer unit sales for WiiU than for Gamecube. Sad, but I think based on what I am seeing, true.
Lol I guess that is what they get for bragging about how the Wii U version is graphically superior.. for a game like this of all games..
We all know the same could have been achieved across all platforms. This isn't Metro: Last Night or Bayonetta 2.
I've experienced those lock-up issues when trying to close Runner 2 on my Wii U, too. From now, I'm just shutting down the console from Runner 2's main game menu. Yup, not the best solution, of course, but at least my Wii U doesn't freezes that way. I think that will do until the patch is released, and hopefully fix it.
