Great article, l just wish these guys and gals could make a new Timesplitters game instead of the ones Crytek wants them to make. A new Timesplitters game with local four player split-screen gaming would be amazing. Sadly it looks like no new game is in development.

It's sad because TimeSplitters 4 would be huge and push PS4 sales even further.
Timesplitters has always been considered a wonderful oddity in the industry. Nothing compares to the series' wacky antics and insane multiplayer action. Unfortunately despite critical success and a rabid fan base the franchise is struggling against modern forces threatening its very existence.

I remember growing up in highschool and playing TimeSplitters 2 with my friends for hours. That was some of my best memories gaming. Truly a missed franchise in my heart.

I remember waiting for my blue envelope from Sony to say my PS2 was ready to pick up from Woolworths. It eventually came about two days after the launch and I picked up a copy of timesplitters, didn't put it down for about 20 hours non stop lol
