According to Retro City Rampage creator Brian Provinciano, the Vita version of the game has proven to be the most successful, selling much more on PS Vita than PSN, XBLA or Steam, advising Indy developers to "jump onto the PS Vita".

I knew indy games would rock on VITA. But, honestly, I did not think the situation with indies on VITA would be SO good on VITA that an indy game (like RCR) would outsell all of the console AND the Valve counter-parts.
