PSA: Last day to get PlayStation All-Stars DLC for free, you don't even need to own the game

Viva la Vita: "In North America, starting tomorrow the new DLC that adds Kat from Gravity Rush, and Emmett Graves from Starhawk to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster will become paid content. If you want to get in on the action (you don't even need to own the game) while the content is still free check out these links below:

The DLC is cross buy compatible meaning you only have to "purchase" one version of the DLC to have both the Vita, and PS3 versions added to your download list. Both Kat, and Emmett are fully featured characters with their own arcade mode entries, and returning voice performers."

Every ps3 and psvita owner should just go and add them onto your download list. You have nothing to lose.

don't know what any of you are talking about. i play this game a lot and there are plenty of people to play with. have never had an issue getting in to a game. only people that hate on this game are the ones who aren't good at it or are mislead by false pretenses from other retarded people.

WildArmed4070d ago

It is a fun game. I spent quite awhile playing the beta for this game. Thou I wasn't convinced about the price of entry, but I do plan on picking it up down the line.

I wonder whos in the next dlc? I love playing at Kat although Im not that good with her. If anyone wants a good challenge just add me. Omar91. Im a spike and jak player.

Btw They just announced KH: HD remix is being released in the fall... maybe it has something to do with all stars? a possible sora as our next dlc? I can dream.

cloud4954070d ago

Seriously having Sora in PS allstars would be awesome.
I'm guessing the DLC will probably just be from Sony's IPs like Joel.
But I hope I'm very wrong. Come on Sony and Square.

It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.

CrimsonWing69514d ago

Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

It just couldn’t compete with Smash Bros. and it wasn’t a free-to-play game like Multiversus.

PapaBop514d ago

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.

spoonard514d ago

I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.

Magatsuhi514d ago

Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.

Father__Merrin514d ago

Yes the power kills spoilt it completely WTH was they thinking you should have hp bar that's it

God of War: Ragnarok Weirdly Makes PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Canon

God of War: Ragnarok has plenty of fun references to PlayStation history, but now fans have discovered a conversation that calls back to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale — the crossover fighting game released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Nyxus521d ago

I wouldn't say canon. More like an easter egg.

Deathdeliverer520d ago

That’s interesting. It actually does make it canon lol. He mentioned it in a mainline game. I’d say that’s pretty cool.
