Nothing there says it's for Vita, or another Assassin's Creed game.

rpd1234072d ago

Yeah, it's more of a rumor, but Ubisoft Sophia's involvement is what makes me think it'd be an AC game.

redrim2174072d ago

Yeeeaaah. Colour me excited if it is indeed another AC on Vita! Though I do fail to see where they've got this from.

TheDivine4072d ago

Maybe we will get a watch dogs spin off? That would be dope for sure.

ironfist924072d ago

Watch Dogs for Vita.

Walk around with the game on your portable console, able to hack other peoples phones and trains and traffic lights in real life and god knows what else!

porkChop4071d ago (Edited 4071d ago )

That would be pretty awesome. I think the Vita could really use a good open world game. I mean we have games like Gravity Rush which is awesome, but that's fantasy. The Vita really needs something like GTA, Watch Dogs, Saint's Row, or Sleeping Dogs.

Anyways, this is very likely an Assassin's Creed game for the Vita. Ubisoft Sofia developed Liberation, and Ubisoft was very pleased with both the games quality and it's sales.

Edit: According to a post on Ubisoft Sofia's FB page they're not working on any Vita games at all. All their projects are for consoles. Damn. Hopefully Ubisoft has another studio working on the Vita, especially with all the interconnectivity between the Vita and the PS4.

Hopefully we can see another Assassin's Creed title on the PS Vita, maybe even more adventure with Aveline?

It felt like we only scratched the surface with Aveline as a character in Liberation, so another story that follows her, though maybe in a different location would be very welcome

r214072d ago (Edited 4072d ago )

Aveline was one heck of a character, hope we do see more of her :D She was just badass with her axe and blow pipe!

chrish19904070d ago

So true, but we got 3 whole games of Ezio, I'm hoping we can at least get another one with Aveline, give her story the proper treatment.

There was an Assassin's Creed title leaked weeks ago called ACIV: Black Flags. Could that perhaps be the next vita title or something entirely different?

Canary4072d ago

Hm... it might be.

Black Flags makes people think of Pirates; AC3L was AC3 minus awesome naval combat, so it would be really ****ing cool to see a Vita-only AC game that focused solely on naval combat.

But calling it AC4... that wouldn't seem to fit. I imagine AC4 will be a home console release.

Well the last Vita game had the number in it. "Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation".

So it could be called: Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flags. It'll probably be a spin for AC4 which I imagine being a home console release.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
