GamerFitNation's Gregory Laporte writes about the next Xbox console. "Recent rumors have come to light that Microsoft is set to announce their press event for their future console sometime in April. While this is mostly rumor, there is some evidence to support the claim; however there is nothing concrete. I believe the reveal will be a little bit sooner than that. Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.
In that same link, they talked to further support who said PS+ owners aren’t eligible. What a load of BS! The upgrade worked just fine for FF7R. I was looking forward to this. 😞
PS5 upgrades for PS4 games on PS+ are hit and miss. The reason is usually that publisher doesn’t want to hand out free upgrades. Sometimes they offer the upgrade upfront, sometimes they are bullied into it, and sometimes they offer it later in a special edition that Sony buys for PS+. It looks here like Bethesda’s intent was to raise the profile of Fallout 4 (and sell some DLC) so I expect we will see an update for PS+ versions soon.

I think they have to so they can switch momentum to them. I think both will be amazing machines, I know my buddy will get the 720 and i'll get the PS4. Best of both worlds.

I think everyone who knows me knows i prefer my ps3 over my 360 but im definitely anxious to see what ms has in store for their nextbox. I hope they can show more core games because im just not interested in kinect so sorry if im not a kinect fan but im just being honest wit yall. Hopefully ms can change my mind by showing off some new ip's in the making for the nextbox & not be just kinect 2.0 launch titles or i will be disappointed.
