As a 360 owner, it feels good to have a great sale for once. Even if it only comes once a freaking year. Ha.

CaptainPunch4074d ago

Agreed, just wish Microsoft did this more often.

TheSaint4073d ago

They like money too much to do it more often.

matrixman924074d ago

XBL has weekly sales on some pretty good stuff, but of course not on the calibre of this

Nevers4074d ago

It is nice to see these games potentially/finally get priced correctly even if for only a week. Games on Demand is typically way too overpriced.

Although, now with all the rumours regarding PS4 and PSN games going around, I'm far less inclined to spend my $ on digital downloads.

AngelicIceDiamond4074d ago (Edited 4074d ago )

You must not use your 360 much there's ALWAYS great sales going through Xbox.

Nevers4073d ago (Edited 4073d ago )

I use my 360 and check the marketplace daily, but many of the "great sales" hold absolutely no interest for me. The only time they have sales that seem to include the games/DLC that I'm interested in getting is during the Xmas/NewYears sales.

Hope the pricing is just as sweet as the list itself.

Is this sale for EU users aswell?

BanBrother4074d ago

'Up to' being key. So, the really bad games will be 75% off and the triple AAA's will be 10% off? Hope not.

Also, why are they doing this now? Lol imagine if they don't carry over to the 720, be quite funny.

CaptainYesterday4074d ago

That's a ton of games going on sale so many good ones!

OC_MurphysLaw4074d ago

Both Sony and MS have seen the success and threat of Steam, they are adapting to that model for sure...but will it be enough for either to allow their platforms to continue the success they have seen?

Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem

ZeekQuattro1h ago

I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.

Knightofelemia3m ago(Edited 1m ago)

Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil4d ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai3d ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing693d ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle3d ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal3d ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

DaReapa3d ago

No. Square Enix owns the IP.

Abnor_Mal3d ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
