What I didnt notice immediately is that there is the old 2d image thing in the corner to help you out. That makes it so much better.

Haha one of the first things that came to many people's minds, as it did to mine. Just simply 'cool'. Very well done video, but trying to control it would be near impossible. Very good effort, but how would you dodge stuff from behind?

That is why I don't think it would work. If anyone had any ideas on how it would, share. (The 2D in the corner might be distracting and helpful at the same time)

From 1:12 till the end of the video it was really awesome
but all that jumping at the beginning of the video was just unappealing ..

This is awesome, but playing it in 3D makes mario look like an idiot not just walking beside the rig instead of going head on with the bombs LOL!

Either way, i would love to see First person integrated into certain aspects of mario, I dobut a full first person view would ever work...kinda felt like portal at times!

2D levels converted to 3D won't work, but playing Mario that were made with 3D in mind (like mario 64, sunshine and galaxy) might actually work to some level with first person.
