#5 PS4 won’t block used games

"Interviewed last night Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, confirmed: “Used games can play on PS4.”

and there you have it, people... straight from the horse's mouth. further proof that patents don't matter, and people should never take anything they see on the internet that doesn't provide concrete evidence without a grain of salt.

there's a lot of really amazing things listed, but i'm not so convinced by the free-to-play stuff mostly because i think free-to-play is a red herring, and the only way you can really get the full experience of those types of games is by paying money.

Well developers for Free to play games have to make money some how. If they dont charge you for little things to help improve your experience then they would go out of business. Free to play is give you the choice to purchase item. The items are not forced down your throat.

I bet Microsoft is shitting their pants and going back to the drawing board!

kneon4075d ago

It's a little late for that, all they can do now is work on the marketing

ambientFLIER4075d ago

I bet Microsoft knew about all these features long before they were released to the public and have planned for them, and the only people "shitting their pants" are ones that buy into the console wars. Like you.

Saryk4074d ago

Really! Buying into the console wars, wow. Since I am a PC gamer, who loves PCs, but also hardware, who has a PS3 and a Xbox, guess you caught me.

Want to ask you a question though. Did my post upset you so much that made you make that post XBOX fanboi? Or did you just need to show us your intelligence and grace us here with your presence?

Gladiator’s Arena review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Even though the Vampire Survivors influenced ‘auto shooter’ genre isn’t long in the tooth, I’m still surprised that it has taken this long for a Roman gladiator-themed rendition to come along – especially with a sequel to Ridley Scott’s 2000 box office hit Gladiator imminent. It’s thematically perfect, with its circular arena in which one man stands alone against hordes of enemies, grabbing loot as they survive one wave to the next."
