We're on the verge of some big announcements out of the Sony camp regarding the future of the PlayStation brand, most of which will hopefully shake things up a little to revitalise an ailing brand. There's no doubt that Sony hit a few brick walls over the last two years, such as the poor performance of the Move peripheral and a lack of support for the Vita, but there seems to be some indie light at the end of the tunnel.
Do you like hurting other people? Ten years later, it's probably the music that drove you to it, let's be honest.
The 2010s occupy a difficult time slot in the world of gaming. The games aren't new enough to be "cool" but they aren't old enough to be "retro." So basically, they're cheap. Ghetto Gamer contributor Hyp3rblue digs deep--but not too deep--into gaming's past to see what we may have just missed.
Asura's Wrath was underrated and the dlc was one of the few times i actually felt like a dlc was worth the money.
Everytime I see a picture of Asura's Wrath I get a moment of happiness for knowing that niche game and then the realization of why it failed with the DLC that made me hate Capcom to the point of saying I wouldn't buy a game of theirs again!
(bought DMC5 on release)
well I agree this list is terrible. Had to click just to see how bad it was. If someone wanted to know wt the best games were this decade and stumbled upon this list they would think "wt happened to gaming in the 2010's" lol
KeenGamer: "Videogaming is a unique medium in that its ability to craft narratives is inherently intertwined with the available technology. The story of any game is expressed across multiple levels, both inside and outside the world of the game, and there is a relationship between game and player, through which the narrative is created and explored."
Are we really still talking about "saving" the Vita? Yes, they didn't have much to say about new games at the recent conference, but I believe with the PS4 interactions with the system that consumers will start to pay more attention to the Vita.
It's a good system, damn good.
Throughout the entire conference... I was waiting for Gran Turismo to be announced for the Vita in light of the enlightening video that released just hours before the meet... To my disappointment... the only mention of the Vita was it was going to be used more by the PS4...What about the PS3? How about new releases for this system? It's a very capable hand held device and it would be a damn shame to let it die.
survey says...no
Can Indie games save the Vita? Can Remote Play save the Vita? Can more games save the Vita? Can Obama save the Vita?
There's been way too many of these articles.
I don't think it needs saving (Many games coming this year), but if it does, then the PS4 connectivity (if they keep their promises) will be all it needs.
