Speculating On New Pokémon Sylveon’s Type

A new Pokemon named Sylveon was announced last week, and it's currently shrouded in mystery. We don't know its special moves, its type, or how it evolves from Eevee. But could The Pokemon Company have hidden one of the answers in plain sight?

I don't want it to be a Flying. I'm hoping my theory of it being a new type "Magic" turns out to be right. I doubt it will, but that would be cool. I don't see how Electric would beat Magic, but alot of the Pokemon type matchups make no sense. Why does Ground beat Fire?

pouring dirt onto fire is a pretty fast way to put it out.

But what about grass beating water?

grass absorbs water through it's roots

By the way, at first glance I thought flying due to the wind ribbons effect and the "wing" accessories.

I see what you're saying, but the bowtie makes it look like a magician. And the video on Pokemon.com had it do a move involving playing cards.

1.Grass(Plants) Absorbs Water
2.I think it might either be
Dragon(39%)
Magic(30%)
Another Psychic(15%)
Flying(50%)
Another Dark(10%)
Ghost(40%)
Normal(45%)
Fight(44%)
3.Why do you think its normal?Good question.
Normal types like Audino,Snorlax and Lickytung are able to learn moves like Ice Beam,Fire Blast, etc. So there is a possibility that the next evolution is gonna be a normal type, but I don't agree too much.Dragon type?I'm not sure as well, but the chances are very high,on people voting counts.
4.Do you remember when she fought a certain pokemon, there were stars being shot, and a possibility, that was swift.

Making Pokémon 3D Was A Mistake

Pokémon’s shift to 3D was a big mistake, as the series’ roots in 2D design make it difficult to transfer important game mechanics into a 3D overworld.

why do other games pull off 3D monster collecting JRPG games just fine? Look at Jade Cocoon and Shin Megami Tensei for examples.

Nintendo 3DS Games We Still Love Playing Even Today

BLG writes: "While it didn’t sell as well as the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS was nonetheless a wonderful system. And, while this may be a hot take, it’s easily my favorite handheld. Even more than a decade removed from launch, the system’s library has so many titles that feel as fresh today as they did back at release. While it was hard to narrow down, these 30 Nintendo 3DS games are emblematic of the system’s success."

When Will The Pokemon Company Introduce a New Typing?

The Pokemon Company has a solid thing going right now. Well, it’s been going on for a while, actually, but it has been a while since a new typing has been introduced to the popular monster-taming series. The latest one, Fairy type, was introduced back in Generation VI (Pokemon X & Y), so it does seem like it is time to bring in a new one. Check out Jason Capp's article for more.
