The Geek Link writes- Luigi Mario, Mario Mario’s brother, commonly know as one of the Mario Brothers, has nothing but been one of the best sidekicks video gaming has ever encounter. Always by his twin brothers side, Luigi has never complain or tried to take the light away from his twin brother. Even when Yoshi, yet another green character who aids Mario through his adventures, took the center stage, becoming most peoples favorite, Luigi never complained.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
Hanzla from eXputer inquires: "If Xbox can care about preserving its games and legacy, what exactly is wrong with Nintendo, trying to kill game preservation single-handedly?"
Ahh yes the good old game preservation of saving all your games to a removable hhd on the Xbox 360, taking it round your mates house, setting up multiple tvs to
Be met with “save data corrupted, please re download”
Or how about removing 360 games
From the store
, download them now or else, and, better hope to god that save data doesn’t corrupt, or it’s lost for ever
Nice one ☝️
This is just a scammy PR move to distract from the fact they are going digital only and trying to push streaming and subscriptions only.
No gaming company has pushed harder to remove ownership than Microsoft.
Without discs there is no preservation, preservation can't be done by the rights holders it can only be done by the consumers, anything else is a lie.
Nobody wants this. Sales or the lack of it in the case of XBOX is very telling. I wonder how the adorably all digital series X will fare. Adorably dismal perhaps?
Only time will tell, but for from someone like me suspecting that Xbox is trying to gracefully exit the console market, that "forward compatibility" team is trying to get Xbox games playing on Windows PCs. I mean, it's nice that they're not planning on exiting with a "enjoy your games while the hardware still works" message, so that's nice. They still have a brand to protect via Microsoft so probably feel obligated to have a better exit strategy.
Danish from eXputer: "Nintendo has historically gone against player-made content and emulation of its games. This has done much to harm the company's image."
They need to stop announcing these mods and fan remakes until they're finished. Finish it, upload it, and then if Nintendo dmca's it tough shit. Once it's online, people can share it around, even if the original download gets taken down.
This is all coming from the mouth of short-sighted fandom and grifting madness.
No.... it wont. There is a clear defined reason why they don't. This is nothing new. Make your own shi7 from your own original ideas especially if you are trying to capitalize of it it. Duh.
Yeah, hire people that have zero respect or understanding for an established process. Wow. Yep. Totally makes sense.
Luigi should be the villain in the upcoming 3D Mario. They shouldn't reveal it's him until the end. That would've made a much greater ending to Super Mario Sunshine. It's ending was really lame in fact. Ooh, that villain turned out to be ANOTHER villain! I'm shocked!
If anyone at Nintendo is reading this, please please take my idea. You don't have to pay me. In fact, I'll pay you. You don't even have to give me credit.
So basically people who were getting tired of Mario are going to get tired of Luigi as well. Strange move from Nintendo who, I think, should focus on bringing new things instead of recycling old stuffs.
@wiium 64 Did I say anything about Sony and Microsoft ? Jeez... I was talking about Nintendo and the Mario franchise, just like the article does. I expressed my opinion on the matter, no need to start a fight here.
(Sorry I missed the "reply" button.)
hey smiley, bayonetta 2, is brand new to wii u, the post said nintendo games recycled, and all consoles do the repetitiveness, jus ask COD, just making a logical point, that's all.
The title doesn't say it all. The dude wrote to get clicks. If no one likes Luigi why is Dark moon one of the most anticipated games from Nintendo. There can only be one star and thats Mario(Zelda/link close) just like halo on 360 and Drake at sony
