1) That wasn't a studio-published title, and
2) Um, that actually happened. It was a real-life event before it was a video game. Uh oh, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Oh wait, it's not that hard, actually. The real life thing came first and was played over and over again on the news non-stop. The American news networks may as well buy billboard advertising space that says "Want to be famous and do you hate your life? Shoot up a school. We'll talk about you for years." Freaking idiots.

Exactly spy. The problem is the common perception that the hero hurts the bad guys. What happens when someone has trouble identifying the bad guys, or simply has a different definition of bad guys? To state it was an 'Emulation' would suggest it was an exact replica of the game scenario. If its different, even slightly then it would have been a simulation.

List a single video game ever released that is on any of the consoles, past or present, that allow you to take an assault rifle and blow everyone at a school to hell. Not a single person could ever do that because there isn't one; the closest thing to it is the PS2 game, Bully, and the most lethal weapons there are stink bombs and balls made of rubber bands.

Also, name a single kid who has ever shot up a school, cited video games, AND has good/competent parents; not a single one. The problem is the kid, their environment outside of home, and their parents; video games might give ideas, but that is the very end of their involvement in any situation.
